Congratulations Natalie! I'm kind of in the opposite situation - I suggested the Broadway back when we were having trouble getting enough people toThe King's Arms or the Moon In The Square, because it's good for buses and - just coincidentally - I could walk back home up Broadway Lane ! :-) Having been a home based telewoerker for many years I ended up having to get a 'proper job' on the other side of Southampton last December , so I am likely to be moving soon. Still should make the next meeting, and hopefully some thereafter though. Looking forward to seeing you next month! I have been scarce recently, due to having a job in London since September, but I'm hoping to make it to the next meeting! Indeed, I am currently on maternity leave so I am back living full time in Bournemouth. I couldn't make it to this meeting as it was too close to the birth (baby girl Zoe was born 25th May) and I'm recovering from a C section, but I'm hoping to make it to the next meeting + all the ones until early October included (going back to work mid October). For me, in a pure selfish way, Broadway Tavern is a great location as I live in Winton on the Charminster side, so I have direct buses and a taxi back, if required, is only £5, but of course, this is an entirely subjective reason to prefer this location. I do think, though, that the location is also adequate for parking and allows non Bournemouth residents to avoid town centre traffic? Anyway; just a thought.
