Steve, The biggest problem with this is that we can not Reproduce or simulate it, I tested it on more then 10 Computers with different OS and onboard comports And also USB to serial adapters. Hi All, To Debug or solve this problem I like to know what OS people are using. The new driver is ONLY for using the LPT port If needed and has nothing to do with the serial port. As far that I know there is nothing changed in version 8.03 what Is related to the serial port. Thought I had tried this before unsuccessfully, John. Maybe I was thinking of that other logging program I used for a while. Oh well... In any case 8.03 seems to be working just fine using the COM port here. I'm using a standard COM port and Win XP. I would suggest that Peter double check his settings and not assume the configuration from .02 was correctly copied to .03. Tried it here and it works fine. In fact I notice a major improvement. You can now use the same COM port for radio control and CW. I use RTS to supply power to the interface and DTR to key the CW line. I believe this is new in Ver 8.03. If LPT, did you remember to run the driver install in the drivers directory?
