[Elecraft] K3 Settings for a MH-2
This has probably already been covered but I would like some suggestions of a good starting point for setting mic gain and compression for a MH-2 mic. [Elecraft] K3 Cover!
I just received my K3 cover from Rose, N7HKW ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and WOW what a product. The embroidery is perfect, the stitching is secure with all raw edges overcast, and the fit is excellent. I would certainly recommend Rose's covers to all Elecraft owners. I have no financial connection to Rose, just a very happy customer. Now I have to consider one for my K2! [Elecraft] KAT100 & KPA100 for sale
As I wait for my K3 I would like to sell my KPA100 (with all upgrades including the replacement of C-31) and my KAT100-2 both in an EC-2 enclosure. These are together in the EC-2 and are connected to and communicate with the K2 through the aux bus cable. Your K2 must have a KIO2 for this combination to work. Initial cost of the KPA-100, KAT100-2 and EC-2 was $667 I will sell for $550 including shipping anywhere in the CONUS. [Elecraft] K3s and P3s Can't Swim
I live in Bloomsburg, Pa and we just experienced a record flood on the Susquehanna River. The sewer backed up to a level of about 4 feet in our basement while we were under a mandatory evacuaton. The K3 and P3 were under about 18 inches of muddy water. Has anyone ever experienced this and found a way to clean and repair the equipment or should it be dispatched to the dump. My best friend, Hank Kohl K8DD, passed away this morning (Nov 13, 2010) from respiratory complications following surgery. Per his wishes there will not be a funeral, but a memorial service will be held sometime in the Spring. I'll be sure to post details as to where and when it will be held.
