A manager is running Outlook 2010 and has already been migrated to the Exchange 2010 server. He recently (after he was migrated) added an additional mailbox to be opened. Now he no longer needs it but it won't let him remove it. It no longer shows up in the additional mailboxes but the mailbox still shows up in the folder list. He can open it and review all the folders. Anyone seen this before? -Paul --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist

RE: Prevent HelpDesk from changing user Phone numbers (UNCLASSIFIED)
Larry, At the OU/Domain level, you need to modify the advanced security settings for the attributes you want to deny modification to: [cid:image001.png@01CBC86F.CD6E8B10] -Original Message- From: Kent, Larry CTR US USA [mailto:larry.k...@us.army.mil] Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2011 2:24 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Prevent HelpDesk from changing user Phone numbers (UNCLASSIFIED) Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE All: I probably should know how to do this. Exchange 2003. We allow our help desk people to unlock accounts, change passwords ,etc. All was done by delegating control. I would like to be able to prevent them from changing the user's telephone number. Under delegate Control in ADUC in the create a custom task to delegate, I've checked only user objects in the 'only the following objects in the folder' and for property specific permissions I've only checked Read, Read All Properties, Change password, and Reset password. Read and write phone and mail options is NOT checked. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. RE: Blackberry devices Push Email
John, The latest version of BIS supports this. My Bold 9700 is able to send/receive email from one of my Exchange servers without being on BES. Steve -Original Message- From: Ellis, John P. [mailto:johnel...@wirral.gov.uk] Sent: Friday, May 28, 2010 5:16 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Blackberry devices Push Email A quick question. Can a Blackberry device such as a BB Bold 9700 support push email without having a BES server, maybe using the BB equivilant of ActiveSync? We have a few a Windows/Symbian based devices that have push email to the phones. The Windows based ones use ActiveSync and SSL cert and the Symbian ones use Mail For Exchange and a SSL cert Thanks John ** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
