BTW Smritis indicate where one should not urinate. Public pathways, cow pens,

There are bike seats available that are open down the center so that
they put zero pressure on the perineum.

'Nuther heat problem: tighty whities. Consider wearing boxers instead
of briefs so that the boys can hang away from the body, in tune with
Natural Law.

I noticed in scanning through the Manu smirti and other vedic
literature, this concept of squatting for promoting brahmaharya.
Also I saw a reference to not bathing nude. Now the reason that was
kind of interesting was that when i was in India, I happened to be
looking for the guys who were heating our tubs of water and
accidently came across one of the guys in an outdoor shower. Sure
enough he was wrapped around the middle in a white cloth while
actively bathing.

too much bike riding is also bad for
non-celibate males ...
it can contribute to low sperm count.

along the same lines, men should not use laptops
on their laps, there is too much heat
which is harmful. (so they say!)

Many yogis and Indians in general squat to poop, rather than sitting. Never
heard of squatting to pee. If it's for Brahmacharya, maybe it's so you don't
have to touch yourself. The book "Brahmacharya for Boys and Girls," which
most good Purusha read at some point, also advises against riding bicycles
(too stimulating in that area) and against looking at yourself in the
shower. Maybe someone should market an opaque plastic tutu for aspiring
celibates.

Men "miss" even while sitting. Remember - lingams
don't always point down while sitting...

Sorry to disagree Rick, but my 9 year old son proves that to be a
false assumption!
I believe the information is in Manu Smirti. Any Manu Smirti experts
out there?

There are definitely urinals in India, so I'm dubious about the squat
to pee claim about men in that country
