I apologize for my criticism. I didn't want to say you're doing your work bad.
Your work on this plane is praiseworthy. I just wonder that the new
version of 737-300 is not an upgrade of the previous model. But you
probably doing it from scratch.

Yes I meant the winglets. I did know how it is called in English.
I flew with 737-300 and it has winglets. It seems not every 737-300
has winglets, only models built in this century. I think they look
nice. If you could, please add them to the FG model.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how to do it.

Hi.
I've tried it but I'm little disappointed. There is already some older
model of 737-300 in the data and it's more nicer that this from the
tarball 737-300.v12.09.2007.tar.gz. The cockpit looks less nice, it
lacks painting and last not least I'm missing those side wings on main
wing which are only on model 300 AFAIK. This should be fixed. Bye.

Re: [Flightgear-devel] FlightGear prerelease; RPMs available + PATCH

2007-11-27 Thread Ladislav Michnovič
Hi.

I have yet another two patches to get FlightGear and Simgear
compiling with new gcc 4.3, which is stricter about missing
declarations of functions. So it's only missing #include which should
be in the code. See the attachments.

Btw. I'm building the RPMs for Fedora, Mandriva and SuSE in Build
Service (http://build.opensuse.org). So you can easily install them,
searching the FlightGear on the web page
http://software.opensuse.org/search and choose the home:lmich
repository.

If I turn off 3D clouds rendering option, these artifacts are shown
for a second and then they disappear. But they are still visible for a
while when changing the view.

I've tried the latest FG pre1 version, but it was rather strange.

strange overlaying triangles were visible on the sky. Does anybody

Re: [Flightgear-devel] FlightGear-0.9.11-pre1 (source code) available for download and testing - some patches to consider

2007-05-16 Thread Ladislav Michnovič

2007/5/16, Curtis Olson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

FlightGear-0.9.11-pre1 is now available for download and testing. I have
finished updating the FlightGear and SimGear web pages and ftp sites with
the appropriate links to download the source code. This release is still
based entirely on plib and does not have any dependency on OSG.

This is a source code only release at this point. The -pre1 suffix
indicates that this is the first *pre* release and not necessarily the
official 0.9.11 release (unless no one finds any problems or has any changes
to make.) I hope that as many people as possible can download and compile
this release.

Hello.
I've succesfully compiled the Flightgear and SimGear but with some gcc
warnings.
I'm attaching patches for further considering to take them into the code.
I'm just not sure about how to initialize uninitialized variables.
I'm not experienced in flying in FG so I can hardly test the
application behavior and its features.
I hope testing will do somebody else. ;-)

Btw. There are some IMHO useless files in data package: ->
data/Aircraft/A-10/Models/*.bak

You can find a clue in config.log .
What is there?

Probably these URLs are better:
http://repos.opensuse.org/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.1/repodata/repoview/F.group.html
http://repos.opensuse.org/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.0/repodata/repoview/F.group.html

You have to click on the name of the package to get the RPM, which
could be find at bottom of the next page. These are the most top level
URLs which should not change.

Btw. Has anybody (everybody) problem with this?
ERROR: Function called without first calling 'glutInit'.

That's weird. I can't reproduce this. I'll rather switch to sdl.

I thought freeglut is fixed in SuSE. Which version of freeglut do you
have? Is its origin from Suse? "rpm -qi freeglut" I've got
freeglut-051110-15. I cannot reproduce this on my SuSE 10.1.
As workaround I can compile it with enabled sdl in build.

Well, on openSuse Build Service would be the structure of directories
allways divided to noarch, i586 etc. It would be easiest to place
these rpms to special place, but I don't know where. I don't have my
own webpages except in the school, but I won't place them there.
Maybe I can look for some webhosting. I'll send an annonce if I make
some progres in this.

[Flightgear-devel] FlightGear packages for SuSE Linux

2006-06-29 Thread Ladislav Michnovič
Hello.
Thanks to the openSuSE Build service, I builded rpm packages of FG
for Suse Linux 10.x which are available at
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.1/i586/FlightGear-0.9.10-17.1.i586.rpm
respectively

http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.1/x86_64/FlightGear-0.9.10-17.1.x86_64.rpm
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.1/noarch/FlightGear-data-0.9.10-2.1.noarch.rpm
or
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.0/i586/FlightGear-0.9.10-17.1.i586.rpm
respectively
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.0/x86_64/FlightGear-0.9.10-17.1.x86_64.rpm
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/lmich/SUSE_Linux_10.0/noarch/FlightGear-data-0.9.10-2.1.noarch.rpm

The build number can increase, so if the link is unavailable, please
search manualy in http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/lmich/
You need noarch package FlightGear-data to be installed first. I would
appreciate any feedback.
 Regards Ladislav.
