Basilisk II in panther

Has anyone succeeded in getting Basilisk II to run in Panther. I copied 
the ROM off of my LC 580 and the program seems to start to work, but 
all I get is a black screen, and that's where it stays. I followed the 
how to, but I never get more than a black screen. Any suggestions would 
be great. Is that computers ROM just not supported. If you don't know 
what Basilisk II is it's a 68k emulator for OS X.

how to boot a pismo

I recently came into a pismo that doesn't have a dvd or cd drive and 
needs a system installed onto it. I have no external firewire hard 
drive to install a system and the only firewire disc drive I have is a 
burner that is not bootable. I do have a wallstreet, but is there a way 
to install a system onto the pismo. Can I use firewire disk mode with a 
cardbus card via my wallstreet or do I need to buy either  an external 
hard rive or disk drive for the pismo?

Wallstreet disk repair utility

Long story short, I was doing a few things on my Wallstreet in Jaguar and when it 
locked up I had to do a hard restart, unfortunately all I got was a flashing question 
mark, so I booted off the Jaguar install disk ran disk utility and fortunately the 
drive is still seen by the computer so it didn't die but it could not fix the errors 
found on the disk. What drive utility do you guys recommend. Seems to me Disk Warrior 
is the one I've heard of most. Please reply off-list as I am on digest mode and would 
like some responses before I leave work tonight to buy this thing as it is my only 
internet ready computer at home.

iTunes and burning Q

I just received my firewire burner along with my firewire pcmcia card for my
Wallstreet. By the way it works great. Anyways, my question deals with
copying from disc to disc is there anyway without buying Toast that I can
burn from disc to disc without importing songs into iTunes?

Ibook vs powerbook??

I'm curious about the quote regarding Wisconsin state schools requiring
students to buy pc's through the school. I am now a senior but have heard of
no such thing.

In fact at UW-Stevens Point they require you buy a mac laptop for their
graphics laptop. If you could point me to a website or something I would

Wallstreet firewire pc card q?

Have any of you had any luck with the ibm firewire cards in OS X? These seem
to go for very cheap on eBay. If not what cards have you guys had the best
luck with in X. Don't use OS 9 much anymore so compatibility with that isn't
that important.
