I think you'll need to reinstall some of the apps. I'm guessing if you restore a backup of the way it is now, (an image type backup) the restore is going to choke because the external card isn't there any more. I'd try to move personal files (pics, movies) to the PC, (or backup of your choice) to make more room. Then move the apps from the external card to internal memory, then try a backup. If I had internet from two sources (ATT and Suddenlink) is there a load balance switch I could split the load between them. All I can fine is: load balancer - splits incoming requests across multiple servers so they appear to be one more powerful server But what I want is the opposite, I think. Any help? TIA, Al

Thanks, that gives me a place to start. At one time I had a TP-LINK TL-R470T Load Balance Router. My Suddenlink Gateway is so locked down I can't set it bridge mode. Tried to replace it with my own gateway but never could get it to work. Dealing with SuddenLink on the phone sucks, I don't yet know what equipment I'm getting with ATT. Thanks again. As you know, ftp is for moving files. You should be able to use the web to access your provider, login and use some kind of manager. cPanel is the most common for Linux hosting.
