I guess that the problem isnt the previus server-update - that was tested by alot of server owners. for me, net_queued_packet_thread *0* helped removing the 5 seconds lag on the end of the round. "net_queued_packet_thread" = "1" - Use a high priority thread to send queued packets out instead of sending them each frame. This make 0 = send packets each frame. and 1 = send queued packets out. I really dont know witch would be best, but if the server must send out packets at once at start to all - then it might lag .. but on the other hand - it might be better to get rid of what has do be done right away .. ? [hlds_linux] Seg Fault with custom maps
Hey guys, I have a little issue with the Linux srcds -- i copied all the files from my windows server to my linux box (Converting now my trial has run out), and updated it. It updated fine, downloading some new stuff, i then tried launching the server with this command line. ./srcds_run -console -game cstrike -ip 10.10.0.1 -port 27016 -maxplayers 16 +map de_dust2 works fine, but any custom maps (Any at all) give a segfault.
