If some people can communicate with animals on that level, fine I
suppose,
but it's certainly an area that's a wide-open for scam artists, or
plain old
nuts to fill the void. I know of a few I could name, but I
won't. I have
heard a couple of stories that were darned hard to explain, as to
how the
communicator could have known certain things.

I agree with all of this. I have to admit that I am pretty sceptical
about some of the people who communicate with animals for a living.
I absolutely believe in animal communication, I have had some very
eerie experiences myself and believe that I have a special
connection with all animals. I do believe that these people fill
in a lot though, even if they are actually able to communicate,
they are doing this for a living and have to please the people to
keep the people coming back.

well, not all of them do; the fellow i took lessons from was a
professional riding instructor and horse trainer. the communicator
thing was not something he was paid for afaik; he just used it in his
teaching (at least) and told stories about it.

i'm not sure i'd pay money for such a person's ideas, but i'm not
adverse to hearing about somebody's thinking on the matters.

i kinda feel like this about animal communication---

my husband comes in, he says the horses seem like they really like
their new paddocks! (they had about three acres and now are fenced
off to about one acre for three horses so grass can grow in the rest).
I go out there and Jaspar is standing staring mournfully out over the
three acres he used to have access to roam, Stonewall is smelling the
ground, then sniffing the air, pacing nervously, calling when he sees
me like what changed?!? and WHY and Nasi is standing with his face
in the corner because i decided to swap him and Traveller and I
thought Tivar hated him and was picking on him but he was sulking and
miserable. two paddocks over Tivar is pacing the fence and takes off
bucking and farting to show me just how mad he is I took nasi away and
Traveller is squealing and kicking at Tivar and fox cause he is so
upset he cant be with stonewall and jaspar, horses he has been with
his entire life. sigh. I had to rearrange some things and my husband
says when i come in why!? They were so happy

Janice, this might work for you too!!! I started the track system
here, baced on Jamie Jackson's book, Pasture Paridise, I had two
herds, now have 1, finally, only took 2 years to get the geldings to
quit fighting... but anyway, here is a link to my track system... the
horses really do look better and are moving a lot...

It allows the insideof the Ovals to grow up, and the outside is like a
huge dry lot which encourages MOVEMENT and happy horses...
