Re: [JAWS-Users] How to turn off annoying video that plays on websites
i think jaws needs to have an audio ducking feature like NVDA has and you could turn audio ducking on or off and also have jaws detect whether your pc volume is muted or very low and turn it up to 30% or 40 percent if needed when starting jaws and unmute sound so you can hear it. Did you close and re-launch IE, or better yet, reboot your computer? It might be necessary to do either of these things before the change can take place. Hmm, thanks for the tip. I'll most likely wait to get it from Bard since the two sound card method, although intriguing and probably very effective, is a bit more labor intensive than I wanted. Lol! Thanks for the suggestions. Hi, I have the 2 sound card arrangement as well and it comes in handy with YouTube employing 2 sets of speakers with individual volume controls. As a point of information Kimber, if you are a BARD member, they have added Rolling Stone to their magazine offerings assuming waiting for the relevant issue is not a problem.
