I thought that you might comment something like that :D I didn't experience any memory problems that I know of. The image itself is just a few MB. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388228 --- Comment #10 from Tobias Deiminger --- > Is this problem still existing? Can you reproduce it? Yes, it still exists in okular master. And I can reproduce it now, thanks to the valgrind trace telling what's going on. > I wonder why it works for me and I can't get valgrind to complain at all :S You need a very special input sequence: -load document and enable highlight toolbar (F6) -create highlight annotation -move the view port so that the annotation position is right beside the highlight tool icon -move the mouse over the annotation, and then horizontally left until you reach the tool icon; it's important to stay over the highlight annotation as long as in viewport -press ctrl-z for undo -click on highlight tool, move right into the document, create new highlight annotation -crash happens on mouse release I'm preparing a fix for this atm. Basically it will forward DocumentObserver::notifyPageChanged and reset the pointer reference immediately if an annotation was deleted for some reason. I'm tempted to do a bit more cleanup/refactoring, should I keep that separated in another patch? https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388662 Bug ID: 388662 Summary: non-breakable space character settings does not work Product: systemsettings Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_keyboard_layout Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: aario.i...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Steps to reproduce: 1) Enable Persian or Arabic keyboard layout to better see the problem. 2) Type two characters. They stick together. 3) Type one character, press space, type another. They won't stick but there is a space between. 4) Type one character, press shift+space, nothing happens. Type another character, they stick together. 5) Go to System Settings> Input Devices> Keyboard> Advanced> Unfold "Using space key to input non-breakable space character", select Non-breakable space character at second level. 6) Repeat step 4. Characters again stick together as the "non-breakable space character" is not working. 7) Try this on libreoffice, chrome and other gtk applications, the key combination works. What is wrong: The "non-breakable space character" settings cannot be enabled and the shift+space key combination does not work. What is expected: Shift+Space should type an invisible space character which separates two characters in special layouts like Persian and Arabic which stick together otherwise. Other information: Gtk applications work out of the box without need to change settings. Left Alt, Left Ctrl, Meta key, Right Shift, Right Alt, Right Ctrl, all tried and non works. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387824 Henrik Fehlauer changed: What|Removed |Added Latest Commit||https://commits.kde.org/gwe ||nview/e8d799c9b522af299f721 ||dbbfcc650526ba78940 Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #10 from Henrik Fehlauer --- Git commit e8d799c9b522af299f721dbbfcc650526ba78940 by Henrik Fehlauer. Committed on 07/01/2018 at 23:47. Pushed by rkflx into branch 'Applications/17.12'. Fix failing PlaceTreeModelTest autotest Since Frameworks 5.41, `PlaceTreeModelTest` would fail. Bisecting shows this has been caused by 7eb6333bdb48 in KIO ("Added baloo urls into places model"), where the model now returns 4 additional entries for "Recently Saved" and another 4 entries for "Search For". While the fix is trivially done by changing the number of expected items, in a way the test functioned as a canary for problems deeper in the code. In particular it uncovered problems when accessing the newly added virtual folders as well as various usability issues. Some of those are fixed already (50e6fa3ffc49 and 86d754546bd1), but there is still some work left to do. Test Plan: `placetreemodeltest` does not fail with KF 5.41 anymore, still works with KF 5.40. M +6-0tests/auto/placetreemodeltest.cpp https://commits.kde.org/gwenview/e8d799c9b522af299f721dbbfcc650526ba78940 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388144 Henrik Fehlauer changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |FIXED Version Fixed In||17.12.1 Latest Commit||https://commits.kde.org/gwe ||nview/119ac4186e4150467f4c3 ||833d8756345b4a95191 Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #2 from Henrik Fehlauer --- Git commit 119ac4186e4150467f4c3833d8756345b4a95191 by Henrik Fehlauer. Committed on 07/01/2018 at 23:41. Pushed by rkflx into branch 'Applications/17.12'. Respect custom filename for Copy/Move/Link To operations In `copyMoveOrLink`, 9056aa941e0d needed to strip the filename from `destUrl`. However, this was done before the actual file operation had been started, resulting in those being performed using the new target directory, but with the old filename instead of a user-provided new filename. This regression can be fixed by moving the stripping after starting the KIO job, because setting a new `targetUrl` in `contextManager` will only be needed at a later point, i.e. when persisting this path to the config. FIXED-IN: 17.12.1 Test Plan: {nav File > Copy To}, enter custom filename, verify image is copied to new path with new filename. Operations on multiple images still work, as well as remembering the last used target directory in both cases. [kmymoney] [Bug 382327] Release kf5 version
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382327 --- Comment #11 from Micha Lenk --- Dear kmymoney developers, the need for a alpha/beta released has been confirmed already in comment #8, almost 4 months ago. I fear that if no official kf5 based release is available before the next Debian stable freeze, kmymoney won't be included at all, not even in the current stable version (in fact it already got removed from Debian buster because of the Qt4 removal). This will most likely result in kmymoney not being available in derivative distrubutions like Ubuntu as well. My screen's resolution is 3840x2160, so the largest I can get is approx 5 rows x 8 columns. For a folder of images, sometimes I want to preview multiple images at once at a larger size without switching to another application. I'd suggest 512px or even 1024px. I think this would have minimal impact on users who don't care about this feature (the only thing I can think of is that it would increase the granularity of the icon size slider in the status bar) but would be quite helpful for others. I'm not sure if this is related to any HiDPI issues, but the interface is otherwise scaled normally for me. [krusader] [Bug 372964] At least one Oxygen icon in Krusader is not correctly seen (using Kubuntu 16.04)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372964 --- Comment #10 from Alex Bikadorov --- Well, if there are icons missing in Oxygen (or any other icon theme) which are needed by Krusader, it is more a general problem. I have thought about solving this and Bug 372966: Two assumptions I take for granted: * there should never be missing icons for any actions/buttons in the UI. It simply should not occur in any modern application. * mixing different icon sets in one application is just ugly and should also never happen. I can't even remember I have ever seen this anywhere. And I am really against taking files from another project (Breeze) and copying them into our project. This is an ugly design decision and leads to more work: figuring out which icons we need, which icons are obsolete, which icons changed and need to be updated. What's left is this (and only this) solution: We make Breeze an official dependency of Krusader. Because it is the only icon set which contains all needed icons. And we force using Breeze as icon set if it is installed in the code; regardless of what the user has set as icon set. And optionally: Show a warning message on Krusader startup if Breeze is not installed. Because in this case icons will be missing and the user maybe does not know why.
