https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435265 --- Comment #21 from Zamundaaa --- There isn't any nightly package for this because it's not merged yet. The easiest way to build everything without modifying your system too much is kdesrc-build (https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/development#Set_up_kdesrc-build), it builds all the KDE dependencies automatically and you can log in to a test session with all the built stuff that doesn't modify your system. [krita] [Bug 434309] New/default brush in MyPaint engine doesn't paint
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434309 --- Comment #2 from Tiar --- Git commit f449392f477f21902310594f46273ec18cd10dbd by Agata Cacko. Committed on 19/04/2021 at 22:16. Pushed by tymond into branch 'master'. Fix default MyPaint brush being randomly incorrect Before this commit, if the user wanted to create a MyPaint brush preset from scratch, they would either get the standard round MyPaint brush (coming from the mypaintbrush.myb file in the plugins/paintops/defaultpresets/ directory), or a much smaller brush with very low spacing. It would be also impossible to change various details about the brush. This commit ensures that the user will always get the correct brush from the .myb file and be able to change its properties. The reason for that bug was the fact that MyPaint preset loader would load all the bytes from the current point it peeks to to the end. However in kis_paintop_box there is a for loop over all paintoppresets loaders to see if they can read that specific file. In a generic paintoppreset loader, a few first bytes would be read, which would result in MyPaint preset loader missing first few bytes and assuming that the json is incorrect, and hence using its default options (that low spacing brush) instead of options supplied in the file. Because there was no error checking in the MyPaint preset loader, Krita would assume everything is fine. However because MyPaint editor handles the changes by changing the json and then supplying it to the libmypaint brush engine, changing most of the properties wouldn't work, because the json was always incorrect. This commit adds moving the beginning of the bytes to read to the beginning of the file in two locations, both the for loop for loaders and in the MyPaint presets loader itself. Moreover it adds error checking to the MyPaint presets loader. --- Note: if there is no loader or no file found, the preset would not paint, because, I assume, it takes all the options from the default values of all the widgets and it means 0 for opacity, dabs per second etc. It would be best if Krita in such case would use MyPaint default options, but because Krita's MyPaint library uses the json version all the time and because I couldn't find a way to extract the json from a working libmypaint brush, I had to leave it as that. [krita] [Bug 434309] New/default brush in MyPaint engine doesn't paint
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434309 Tiar changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED Latest Commit||https://invent.kde.org/grap ||hics/krita/commit/fef5d652f ||b62ff36ebb82a721853428c1e15 ||4486 --- Comment #1 from Tiar --- Git commit fef5d652fb62ff36ebb82a721853428c1e154486 by Agata Cacko. Committed on 19/04/2021 at 22:16. Pushed by tymond into branch 'master'. Fix MyPaint default brush to be a brush that paints Before this commit, if the user created a new MyPaint brush using the + button in the left panel of the Brush Editor, it would by default create a brush that doesn't have an ability to make marks on the canvas (the dab-per-second and dabs-per-radius are both 0, the opacity is 0, the diameter is very small as well). This commit adds a default preset for MyPaint that can paint, and changes the code to make use of that preset. Note: right now Krita ignores MyPaint's default settings for the brush. Since all other paintop engines have their default presets in the .qrc file, it was the easiest way to make MyPaint brush engine work as well. [kmail2] [Bug 435939] Default sender identity of IMAP folder is ignored and does not persist
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435939 --- Comment #1 from esw80...@cuoly.com --- I believe I have narrowed down the issue. Going to ~/.config/emailidentities, I noticed that the uoid of the identity X is a larger 10-digit number than that of all the other identities. Manually editing the file and setting the uoid to something smaller resolves the problem. In fact, the bug reappears exactly when the uoid is set to something larger than 2^31-1, so it looks to me like the uint uoid is not treated as an unsigned int somewhere. [kmail2] [Bug 435939] New: Default sender identity of IMAP folder is ignored and does not persist
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435939 Bug ID: 435939 Summary: Default sender identity of IMAP folder is ignored and does not persist Product: kmail2 Version: 5.16.3 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: folders Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: esw80...@cuoly.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When I set a certain default identity for an IMAP resource, that identity is not used for the IMAP folders and does not persist. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set the default identity of an IMAP resource to X. 2. Go to the folder settings of any folder within that IMAP and make sure that the box is ticked to use the default identity. 3. Compose a new email. 4. Manually set the folder identity to X and restart KMail. EXPECTED RESULT The new email uses identity X. Additionally, the IMAP and folder identity settings persist after restarting KMail. OBSERVED RESULT The global standard identity is used. Additionally, the settings do not persist but revert to the global default. This only happens for some identities. It is serious because it means that composing a new email from within an IMAP folder can accidentally use the wrong identity if the user is not careful and therefore expose sensitive addresses. Create a new .js file and copy this code into it: document.addEventListener('click', function(event) { if (false) console.log("whatever"); }); 2. Place the cursor at the end of the middle line, after the ";" 3. Hit the Enter key OBSERVED RESULT The new line is insanely indented, EXPECTED RESULT the new line should have the same indentation as the "if" line. Note that if you try the same outside of the addEventListener(...), it works as expected. Also, as far as I can tell, generally speaking, inside the function body auto indentation is not generally broken. Most of the time it works as expected but it breaks with the one-line "if" statement without {}s. By changing the above code to: document.addEventListener('click', function(event) { if (false) { console.log("whatever"); } }); I don't observe any weirdness in autoindentation. So, neither the anonymous function inside a function argument list alone, nor the one-line if statement without {} alone, are enough to cause unexpected behavior, but somehow the combination of the two things is. [okular] [Bug 435889] Add some config tool to change the voice and language of the synthesizer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435889 --- Comment #3 from Simplissimus --- By the way, it also seems that configuring speech-dispatcher by hand doesn't work either. I don't know how to make SP use Google or IBM Watson voices, but I've tried editing the /etc/speech-dispatcher/speechd.conf file to use Espeak, and Okular still recites in a tinny voice with a gringo accent. xD. But I guess perhaps this should be discussed in another report, right? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[frameworks-qqc2-desktop-style] [Bug 435934] CheckBox neither elides or wraps long text
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435934 --- Comment #1 from Nate Graham --- This is probably caused by using a QQuickStyleItem to render the whole control. So the text gets rendered by that element and fails to be affected by any of the typical text constraints. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasma-systemmonitor] [Bug 434461] Right sidebar content is cut off on the right side
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434461 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REOPENED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED See Also||https://bugs.kde.org/show_b ||ug.cgi?id=435934 --- Comment #7 from Nate Graham --- I think that last issue is caused by the fact that QQC2 checkboxes don't elide or wrap their text when it's too long. We can work around that by making the sidebar wider or shortening the text (or urging translators to use shorter translations). However I think ultimately we just need to fix that bug. Let's track that with Bug 435934. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
