Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] forum area
should development releases be limited to those who have at least a basic understanding what the word development means? ;^) That would rule me out as well :P I do know our devs do strive to keep the release notes up to date on the testing area. It is unfair to ask that they release to the many forums. Any of us are welcome to update the testing area and it should, IMHO, be the area that any forum posts etc refer back to. We have a great ML for lubuntu, we can discuss 'what is a bug' within our own team, but as we go viral - we are going to have to use lp for bugs and the wiki for testing else I fear we will end up with one area saying one thing and another something else. Hi, there's a lot going on for me at present, could someone take a quick look at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9699653#post9699653 and answer it. I'm pretty sure it is just a case of removing the CD from the software sources, but I've not seen the error before. If you're not forum people then reply here and I'll post it up tomorrow. thanks, Phill. [Lubuntu-desktop] Forum Support
Hi, you will be aware that we now have a lubuntu prefix on http://ubuntuforums.org/ whilst I know everyone is busy, and it is a real small team could I ask that you do pop on every now and again to check for lubuntu questions. The way the system works so that you can pick up on people who have either used the lubuntu prefix or a lubuntu tag are: 1) Click on Search, select Tag, type in lubuntu 2) Click on Search, select Advanced, Under the banner that says Search Options, to the left you will see an option Find Threads with Prefix. Scroll down the list and select lubuntu They've been kind enough to give us the option, IMHO it is only right that we do take the time to go and check on postings that are lubuntu related.
