I've used NVDA with Virtualbox (free) in the past. I recall it required
some key remapping.

If I get a chance, I'll try it out again today.

VMWare Fusion is therefore your only accessible option as Parallels does not

I actually never use Boot Camp now as Fusion is so much quicker and

No such animal exists. Because virtual machines run entirely under
software it all depends on how fast your ram and processor is to
determine how fast a virtual machine can run. You are better off looking
into Bootcamp. Then that way you can run the other operating system
natively without waiting for any kind of virtual machine to boot up.

Hi all,

The NVDA screen reader reads Farsi text. Since I need to read Farsi text now
and then, I”m looking for the quickest way to run NVDA under Mac. I hear that
Parallel Desktops allows running Windows applications under Mac, but I feel
(based on previous experience using Wine) that this will cause problems with
NVDA.

What I want to avoid is constantly waiting for Windows virtual machine to boot
before I can read Farsi.

Thanks.
