Re: [MBZ] brake power bleeder
Thanks Dan. I thought Grant advocated pushing the fluid up from the wheel. Is that right, or was that only for clutches? Thanks! Here are the plans I used: http://faculty.ccp.edu/faculty/dreed/campingart/jettatech/bleeder/ Dan Sent from my iPad On Dec 24, 2013, at 7:36 PM, Dan Penoff wrote: I made one out of a 1 gallon plastic pump sprayer. The volume of fluid in a clutch system is pretty small so it doesn't take a lot of "hand pumping" to get it done. I invented the system to bleed the very pesky clutch slaves on Ford trucks.. they are at least as hard to bleed as the MG's and much harder to push off the road when the clutch won't release on the test drive ;)). Grant...(4/26/13) Grant, could you tell me how you made the power bleeder for brakes? Was that an electric fuel pump too? I am thinking a mightyvac to pressurize a quart can/bottle with a tube out for the line to the bleeder. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
Re: [MBZ] brake power bleeder
Very similar to what someone else posted here years ago. This is what I used for a plan. http://www.bmw-m.net/techproc/bleeder.htm I did get several Motive adapters from Amazon for different vehicles. Re: [MBZ] brake power bleeder
I did something similar - but I mounted a pressure gauge on the tank instead of the valve stem. I made one out of a 1 gallon plastic pump sprayer. Works great! I can dig up the plans if you want me to. I found them online.
