For me it looks like big, single impact melt inclusion.Try to make photo with FLASH
becouse photos are too dark and not shake your camera while you taking a photo :))

[meteorite-list] PolandMET News : 2 new meteorite FALLs !!

2004-04-24 Thread www.Meteoryt.net
Hello List.
I have big pleasure to announce 2 new falls in my offer.

AMGALA chondrite, Fall from Western Sahara, Maroco . I have polished slices and
endpieces
with verry nice visible brecciation and chondrules and ofcourse super black crust.

And now something verry special. For the FIRST time You can see slices from meteorite
that
fall in Burkina Faso in November 2003. This is super fresh incredible looking
chondrite. I
worked on this fall from December, but only some days ago I received one little sample
of
this new fall. Quality of this meteorite is similar only with other new falls like
Bensour, Kilabo or Park Forest etc. TKW is several kilo or more. Location of this fall
is
near LAMPIAYRIE village, 200km from Bilanga to border with Niger. This is all
information
that I received for now.
Meteorite is gray inside with troilite and interesting dark inclusions. There is also
many
good visible chondrules. I give to this fall provinsional name LAMPIAYRIE.
Classification
is pending.

I also have some other verry rare meteorites (with LOW prices) that I announced some
time
ago like OUZINA [R4], PULTUSK [H5], NWA1839 [L7], KAINSAZ [CO3], DHOFAR908 [LUN],
DHOFAR019 [SHE], NWA801 [CR2] and many many other.

If someone is interested in buying or only want to see some excelent specimens, please
open my page at http://www.PolandMET.com

Mr. Arnold.
Its a good time to ask You for something .
Its realy nessesery to announce on this met-list EVERYTHING You buy/receive/have for
exchange/ and ofcourse what You tooday enter to eBay ??? I think if someone will be
interested, he will look on ebay. Also this will be more interesting I think if You
send
here info that You just put to eBay something big/rare/beautifull but not everything
You
just want to sell etc. I understand that this is best place to send that kind of info,
but
is everyone will do the same, this will be worse than latest members wars.

I don't know, maybe I'm too sensitive tooday, or my finger hit Delete too many times
eveyday, but (too much) that kind of emails make me irritate. Sorry Steve, nothing
personally.

[meteorite-list] Stone Identification help !

2004-03-31 Thread www.Meteoryt.net
Hello List
Yesterday I received verry verry strange specimen. This is 13g endpiece of something
what
looking like achondrite. Verry fresh achondrite. I need to know Your opinion about this
specimen.

Photos of this specimen I download to my page www.polandmet.com in menu click on
. Strange specimen

Or here directly to this page http://www.polandmet.com/_met_strange.htm

This sample comes from big around 1kg stone, but I not see it yet. I want to know if
this
can be meteorite or not. For me it is, but I can be wrong. This is really one of the
best
samples I ever received.

Thanks for Your opinions

LOL
Martin, Martin
Moroco is now full of collectors, dealers, prospectors, nomads etc. So every new fall
alvays fall "near" which of them.
You better turn off Your monitor and start observe sky thru window. New Bavarian fall
is
comeing.

Yes, Matteo is out of list so PLEASE leave him alone. Mike why You forward his email
sended to YOU to this list ? There is something about us ? I dont think so.

Tell us what kind of new meteorites You find in Morocco. This will be more interesting
than Your problems with Mr Proud Matteo :)

Next monday I also go to Moroco for the first time ! If someone can send me any advice
where to buy meteorites or who contact there :-) this will be verry helpfull. I will go
with a group or 5 persons who search for minerals, so this will not be a exactly
meteorite hinting.
