[MLO] Manual archive not available in desktop v5.2.1
According to https://www.mylifeorganized.net/support/archive/ manual archive is supported from the Menu bar > Tools > Archive... I don't have the submenu Archive under Tools. I searched this Group and didn't find anything helpful. Directly related: now do I manually archive?? Thanks! [MLO] Multi-line text/Word => multiple tasks, one per line
Hi, I'm struggling to describe what I want. I want to be able to copy multiple lines of text from a text file or Word doc (any maybe even an Excel spreadsheet), paste it into MLO treeview, and have multiple sibling nodes/tasks created, one per line. Does such a capability exist? I use it (obviously) to from tasks/info already in a horizontal list to a set of sibling nodes. Right now, if I attempt to paste when selection focus is on a particular node/task, nothing happens. If I insert a node, the textbox appears for the node content and pasting puts all of the lines in the node text with special characters inserted (if present). Re: [MLO] Re: Request: Mouse back button move focus back to last task
Hi Steph, I'm using a stock Microsoft mouse. The back button is on the lefthand side of the mouse. It is normally mapped to some sort of "back" notion in the app. For a browser, it takes you back one page. Etc. Having said that, I'll definitely check into mapping a key combination with a mouse event. Thanks! On Tue, May 19, 2020 at 12:12 AM Stéph wrote: > My mouse doesn't have a "back" button. [MLO] Request: Mouse back button move focus back to last task
Hi, I've searched this forum and the settings but can't find a way to make the mouse back button work. I'd like for the back button to do the same thing that Alt+Left Arrow does: it goes back to the last task that had focus. Any ideas or would this be a new functionality request? Thanks! [MLO] My order to alphabetic ordering accidentally
(Hoping that this isn't a repost. I searched for similar titles/content but didn't see anything helpful. All are advanced topics; this is basic) Hi all, until a few minutes ago, the MLO tree of tasks (in the view All tasks) was ordered according to how I'd created/dragged tasks and subtasks. Somehow I managed to cause the top level of tasks to be alphabetically ordered/sorted and a Ctl-Z isn't undoing it. Can someone give me a quick top on how to undo this and go back to the ordering that I created? Thanks! [MLO] Paste not functioning in 4.3.3.2471
Anyone else seeing this? Running above version on Win7 Pro SP1. Symptoms: any text in the app (including task names, descriptions, properties, etc) can be copied or cut. However, pasting does not work. So, Ctl-C or Ctl-X + Ctl-V fails. Nothing happens. If I select some text and right-click for a context menu and copy or cut, when I bring back up the context menu, "Paste" is greyed out and disabled. [MLO] Prb: upgrade to MLO4 caused key file to become corrupt; how do I recover?
Hi, I was running MLO when it prompted me to download MLO4. I did so and ran it, forgetting to shut MLO down first. The install detected that MLO was running, I shut it down, and retried.
