The binary log will be available if you got setting the synronization between server A and server B. So to restore the db, server A can be use binary log in server B to re-execute all the insert/update/delete/create/drop query in log. If log is available since created the db then re-execute all the log will recover back the db. But the case is if re-execute all the log mean the db will re-drop again...To solve this, change the db structure or rename the db, then will cause to re-execute position stop, then drop query will not run. Yeah probably you do some backups from now on whenever you want to delete something. There are ways to undelete files on linux systems but i do not know how. Probably look for undeleteing files on unix and you might find a clue. Otherwise.
