Hi, Packman build already for Arm (aarch64, armv7 and armv6). For Leap, Arm packages are built in the same repo and thus, are released under the same directories as x86. But for Tumbleweed, it currently uses different repo (openSUSE_Factory_ARM vs openSUSE_Tumbleweed for x86). So, we should redo the Packman setup to build Arm in openSUSE_Tumbleweed project as well. I think only a very tiny subset of them would actually be useful on this lowend hardware. Well, it's the raspberry pi 1/2. But apart from ffmpeg, i cannot imagine what I'd need from packman on the RPI. You have omxplayer and kodi. I sent some time ago an e-mail about the armv6l building problem (no more worker allowed armv6l build). It seems to be the case again: https://pmbs.links2linux.de/monitor/old Guillaume Therefore I think armv6l should either be wiped to free resources, or the list of packages to be build should be reduced to a minimum. Disable and wipe all and enable only the things people complain about. I am still not using openSUSE on my raspi (a few bugs and yocto/OE is just neat), so I will not complain about anything yet ;-) ___ Packman mailing list Packman@links2linux.de http://lists.links2linux.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/packman

[packman] [RFC] Add support to no X version to XBMC
Hi, I am preparing a no X version of XBMC, based on our standard X XBMC. This is really useful for ARM boards which do not need to have a full X environment. Since it does build for all architectures, I enabled it for all architectures even if it makes less sense for x86/x86_64. Maybe someone would be interested for an old computer. I have prepared a patch (which I still continue to improve) here: https://pmbs.links2linux.de/package/show?package=xbmc-noX&project=home%3Aguillaume%3Abranches%3AMultimedia This patch add support to noX option in xbmc.spec. Then a pre_checkin.sh script will copy xbmc.spec to xbmc-noX.spec (and xbmc.changes to xbmc-noX.changes) and enable the noX option automatically. A new package xbmc-noX will be created and will only _link to xbmc. Therefore, each XBMC update will update xbmc-noX. Standard XBMC build will not be modified. I used something similar to what is done for glibc/glibc-utils/glibc-testsuite. Is there any comment/request/idea before I commit my patch? Moreover, if my patch is merged, someone else could work on a fix for other problems or enhancements. What do you mean by "post build checks are disabled" ? It is always the same error. I added libgpg-error-devel as BuildRequires but the error is still there. The errors are only for 12.2 (i586 / x86_64), 12.3 i586 and Tumbleweed i586. Factory is fine, ARM builds also fine. I guess it is a problem with gpg-error, not XBMC.
