yes I am. with the old version I'm currently using whatever I place in the track name field stays the same until I change it. Well, effect processing is much faster in 5.51. You may find the speed tradeoff worth your while. Turtle Beach Audio Advantage SRM
Hi folks I've taken the plunge and will be getting a Turtle Beach Audio Advantage SRM for my laptop, after Kathy's suggestion. Can anyone give me any tips for the instalation, it sounds like it's pretty standard but if there are any pitfalls or sticking points, I want to know so I can be prepared ahead of time. It definitely sounds like the card I'm looking for, though. Thanks! Chris To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

Yes i would definitly agree, since 5.51 has very big bug improvement because 5.50 had problems with all of the values from the presets and now that is fixed in 5.51. - Original Message - From: "Jim Noseworthy" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Sunday, May 10, 2009 1:13 PM Subject: GoldWave Hi Folks: There seems to be lots of questions concerning GoldWave 5.5. Re: new sound card for my laptop
Hi. Wow this sounds like it's exactly the one I'm looking for! My only question is, is the software that comes with it necessary? I'm not going to be doing a whole bunch with surround sound, just maybe occasionally recording from an external source like a casette deck or cd player or something, so I don't need anything that's going to require me to hook up tons of speakers. Space is limited here. It does sound quite nice though! At 05:33 AM 5/10/2009, you wrote: Hi there! Finally getting around to answering this post, because I wasn't sure what I'd say. MP4b files - conversion and creation
Prompted to ask this again here by Ann Tates question about converting .mp4b files to mp3. I'm interested in the answers to that question, but wonder if anyone knows what's around to actually create ..mp4b files. Maybe programmes or converters exist to handle .mp4b but I've not seen this in, for example, NCH's switch coverter, which I have on this computer. Wonder if maybe ITunes can do .mp4b creation. Maybe have to install it and find out, but would be interested in any knowledge people have on .mp4b creation. If your pluggins are directX, you should first download and install the add-on for compatibility. Re: Effect Plug-ins in Goldwave
hello Samuel. That's exactly what happened to me. You need to download separate directx plug-in from the site and install it. Than after you lounch goldwave you will see your plug-ins which you can configure from the options menu. If you are using vst than my advice is to check out the faq section on the goldwave site which explains how to use vst with goldwave. - Original Message - From: "Samuel Wilkins" To: "pc-audio" Sent: Sunday, May 10, 2009 10:16 AM Subject: Effect Plug-ins in Goldwave Hello, I am trying to get my list of plug-ins in Goldwave 5.5.
