Re: Help Please with Audegy Card
Hi Richard, Your driver settings may be corrupted so you can't choose to select the advance option. The only solution I know to this is to create a new windows xp user and move all your old documents and so on, on to that one. If you have skype you're welcome to contact me for some instructions. Re: Help Please with Audegy Card
Brian, Thanks for the reply. I can get into the advanced option dialogue box but not the choice of trebble/bass within it. I'm beginning to think that perhaps this card is on the cheapper side of things and won't allow me the ability to change those settings. It could be as well a conflict with the sound blaster software and drivers which are also installed. I don't know if it is a corrupted driver though but I wonder if the windows xp driver for this device is more usable in the circumstances. - Original Message - From: Brian Olesen [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. Re: Help Please with Audegy Card
Hi, What you must do is you have to select the advance box under options. Then in the play back and record dialog you get an advance bottun you can activate. Then you get access to the tone controls. I was not able to get at the bass and treble controls with my Audigy 4 pro. They only show up in Creative Surround mixer which is inaccessible without Jaws scripting or WindowEyes set files. Hi Brian. If Richards drivers are corrupted, there may be an easier way to fix this. The Creative forums suggest using Driver Cleaner: http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.html The product supports Creative drivers. Re: Help Please with Audegy Card
Thanks to both of you for the help. I did some reading today and I think I have an audegy value. The writer from my google search said that it was an inferior card. perhaps that's my answer. Anyway, I don't know how the drivers should be corrupted, I reinstalled them but you never know. My audegy has 4 jacks, is that an audegy value? It also could be a conflict with the mother board. Keep me up to date if you can, thanks. - Original Message - From: Bobcat [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list.
