[SlimDevices: Plugins] Dynamic/SQL Playlists with iPeng
I have several playlists that take two years as input that work fine through the SB (classic) remote. When I try them in iPeng (1.1) after selecting the first year I just get a blank screen. Do I need to make change to the code (example below) or is this an iPeng issue? -- PlaylistName:Favourites by Years... -- PlaylistGroups:Favourites,Years -- PlaylistParameter1:year:Select 1st year: -- PlaylistParameter2:custom:Select 2nd year:select tracks.year,tracks.year from tracks where tracks.year>='PlaylistParameter1' and tracks.audio=1 group by tracks.year order by tracks.year select tracks.url from tracks join track_statistics on tracks.url=track_statistics.url left join dynamicplaylist_history on tracks.id=dynamicplaylist_history.id where audio=1 and dynamicplaylist_history.id is null and tracks.year>='PlaylistParameter1' and tracks.year<='PlaylistParameter2' and track_statistics.rating>=70 group by tracks.id order by rand() limit 10; -- MillmoorRon MillmoorRon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6413 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62953 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] 7.3 and XM radio
I'm in the same boat - its working very well with my boom except for the menu button missing. That said, the fav trick works: you can add any xm station as a favorite by specifying the station's number with the xmradio qualifier. For example, for station 204, NHL, I made the following favorite entry: xmradio://204 And in fact this actually is working better than ever - it looks like you fixed it so that I don't have to log in first, I just go to it and it works! (Good thing too, since there's no option on my boom.) Perhaps these fav's are a pain to setup one time, but after that, very convenient, and no limitations in the number of favs you can have, unlike presets. I've already made a bunch in an XM subfolder and will be listening to them all tomorrow. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SQL error on Genre/Sub genre menu
Hi Erland This problem has persisted since I last posted. In fact, now it doesn't matter which computer I use to access SC, ANY sub-menu under either of my two libraries returns a similar SQL error. The only sub-menu which returns any entries is 'New Albums'. Accessing my music libraries from one of my players returns no tracks at all under any of these sub-menus. I'm currently surviving by using the Music Folder option to navigate to the files directly. If I disable Custom Browse, then everything works OK (except that I see two copies of every track - one for my standard library and one for my iTunes copy). If I re-enable Custom Browse, then I get nothing but these SQL errors again. Any tips for trouble-shooting this? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Enque track when using shuffle.
Hmm, maybee this is a stupid question, but I have to ask. Is it somehow possible for me to enque a track from my playlist into current playing, when my playing are set to shuffe/random ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] 7.3 and XM radio
Neil, I have your plugin working on XP and Vista 64 machines through a SB3, Softsqueeze 3.9b1 and the beta Squeezeplay. I will give you a full report after I have had more time to put the plugin through its paces. The only thing of significance I note so far is the lack of a "XMradio" menu entry for the SB3 and Softsqueeze, although it is shown on the web UI. I expect that is what you meant by "menu on boom and SB3" in your last post. Like the Duet, XM is a selectable menu option in Squeezeplay, but does not show up in the menu settings for the other devices. iPlayer should work with 7.3 and 7.4 but you probably need a different version.
