[SlimDevices: Plugins] Is anyone using ClassicCB/DefaultCB skins ?
Is anyone using the ClassicCB or DefaultCB skins in 7.6.x or 7.7.x provided by Custom Browse ? If you do, what's the reason you use them instead of the standard Classic/Default skins provided by Logitech ? The reason I'm asking is that I'd like to drop support for ClassicCB/DefaultCB in a future Custom Browse release and I want to be sure I'm not removing important functionality which a lot of users are using. The reason I want to drop the skins is that they tend to break every time Logitech changes something in the standard Classic/Default skins so it's a lot of work to make sure they always work. -- erland Erland Isaksson ('My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info)) (Developer of 'many plugins/applets (both free and commercial)' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/User:Erland). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] my Dynamic Playlist in a playlist-file is no longer working
You can use the following command to list available playlists: dynamicplaylist playlists Then find the playlistid of the one you are interested in, for "Top rated songs recently played" this means trackstat_topratedrecent So to play that playlist on the player named "My First Player", you can issue the command: Code: My%20First%20Player dynamicplaylist play trackstat_topratedrecent Or if you know it's MAC address you can also use: Code: 01:02:03:04:05:06 dynamicplaylist play trackstat_topratedrecent -- erland Erland Isaksson ('My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info)) (Developer of 'many plugins/applets (both free and commercial)' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/User:Erland). Cool :) One hint: I did have some issues with the special character you use as a line separator, you probably created that on Windows, then I edited the file on a Mac and run the Server on Ubuntu... What I did was to use Code: ^(.*)\s##\s(.*)$ Which at least in my library is reasonably safe as a separator, I don't have any tracks, albums or artists I know of that contain a double-# -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote and *New: iPeng for iPad*, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Well, such things are normally left to the player itself, it's just a click on the remote for Squeezebox devices, and similar for iTunes and Winamp players. I am using iPengHD to play MOG files... and the artwork displayed on my iPad is amazingly clear! IMHO this is one very good reason to select iPengHD, especially if you use your iPad to display your current selection (I use an iPod Touch with iPeng as a "controller" for both MOG and my own library - very fast and easy to use.) My only suggestion for an additional iPengHD feature/option would be to replace the strange "Searching for Lyrics" page with a page linking to a review of the current album... -- cvj cvj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2979 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91553 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New versions of erlands plugins
I attach the finished sample menu in case anyone else can benefit from the example. MrC came up with a RegEx to fix the remaining issue with the album menu. Regarding the file list, the standard SBS/LMS titleformat has to be set to "[Whatever you want in the first line in the list of tracks] ยค [Whatever you want in the second line in the list of tracks]". After this the CB menu looks as nice as the standard iPeng menus but with more information (all track artists can be displayed for each track and I can add any information I want in the track list). The only thing I cannot figure out is how to get the year of the album to be displayed aligned to the right in the heading describing the album in the (second) track menu. -- vagskal 2 x SB3 (wired), Receiver (wired), Boom (wireless), Controller, iPeng on iPhone 4 & iPad, muso on remote computer running Win 7 64-bit | 7.6.2 (r33593) on Win XP vagskal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20778 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
