Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
I have Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1465358341 on Ubuntu 12.04 server. In server settings|plugins I cannot see Spotty. What have I missed? I admit to not reading every page of this thread, but I have skimmed through. I have added http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/test.xml but I am ot sure if this is needed since the release - it was mentioned in the original implementation thread here http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107418-The-Spotty-Spotify-implementation; nickrout's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1967 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107615 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
Thanks. Another reason for me to find a WHS replacement. It's just worked so well for so long... if it ain't broke don't fix it! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
BTW - is there a reason this will not work in the WHS v1 environment? Rust, the programming language in which the underlying spotty is written, requires a more recent Windows. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: WaveInput for Linux
Depennding on your system hw:0,0 can be a mix of line-in, mic and capture devices. Use alsamixer with "Capture" to show the current levels of the "Mix" - you want Capture devices to be at max and all other to be zero. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49584 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: WaveInput for Linux
I've deactivated LiquidSoap and Icecast now. When I start the playback of a sound file with Code: aplay -vv -D hw:0,0 test.wav , it play all right (at least the "VU meter shown with -vv is alive) However, when I try to record with Code: /usr/bin/arecord -D plughw:0,0 -d 30 -f S16_LE > sample.wav or Code: /usr/bin/arecord -d 15 sample2.wav there are no errors, the wav file is generated - but no sound in it. In the latter case there is some noise. I'm not sure whether it has to do with the fact that there is a plug in the mic/line in of the soundcard and arecord tries to record from this source instead from the playback. I wasn't able to find the parameters to tell arecord to capture the playback - are there? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Band's Campout - timeout problem
For a couple of weeks I have had a problem connecting to my Bandcamp collection. I get the following error in my log: > [17-10-27 12:42:03.6402] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (193) > Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, > https://t4.bcbits.com/stream/a97e6e57542c253c4483da955e328c50/mp3-128/371428735?p=0=1509187296=a727517afd7e015b83fd30de20603477aee67fda=1509187296_31d8479ced4e829bcf478f4f3827a4d78bf80cf1: > Connect timed out: . Earlier replies to similar problems have suggested that problems connecting via https have to do with not having IO::Socket::SSL installed, but as the Spotty plugin works, this should already be installed, shouldn't it? Is there something else that I haven't thought of? peeter's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63715 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108184 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I think that yesterday the sound detection script only worked because it was "listening" to Card 0 (which was the onbourd sound chip before my changes), while the LiquidSoap script was still configured to listen to Card 1 (which was the USB sound card before my changes). It seems to me that the "busy" message occurs because there are two items trying to access the same card. Will now de-activate liquidsoap and try again... Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
Posting a link to that thread would have been more helpful... because from the screenshot it's not clear what the initial problem was. Whether it is related to yours or not, we can't tell. FWIW: I have no clue why your plugin installation got in the state you saw. I would have said this was the first time I saw this. But maybe all those 7 years ago, when above posting was done, it happened already. From your log file it was clear that LMS knew it had to remove the plugin (check the last line). Why it didn't, I don't know. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
