Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Alternatives to spotify / spotty?
On Qobuz you can't escape MQA either. They don't mark/advertise albums as MQA but the one or the other album can be MQA'ed. They depend on what the labels push to them. Recently stumbled upon such recording, the booklet included mentioned it. Hybrid SACD Surround recording with the stereo CD layer being MQA'ed. https://open.qobuz.com/track/103337668 does the all-black SB sound better than the white SB? hsmeets's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9716 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115850 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Alternatives to spotify / spotty?
I am new to Tidal, on a trial, a couple random thoughts: 1) If you use android, the simple android app "lms connect" is wonderful for using the Tidal android app for your UI, and sharing your selection to the Tidal plugin: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?114611-Announce-LMS-Connect-streaming-Tidal-Qobuz-to-LMS-via-native-Android-apps I really struggles trying to use the lms plugin as the UI (Of course, I probably didn't know what I was doing :) ) 2) I am not sure about your location, but here in the US, the "holiday trial" of 3 months for $1 (HiFi) or $2 (HiFi+) is still available: https://tidal.com/offers/holiday-2021 My early observation is there is allot of current music genres that I am not really interested in, but once you start listening to what you are interested in, there are allot of relevant suggestions and curated playlists. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
When using 'English (British)' in LMS Basic Settings a rescan for '-*new and changed files*-' does not pick up new music added to my Spotify account. Again using 'English (British)' a rescan using '-*clear library and rescan everything*-' loses all the Spotify content from the LMS library. Reverting to 'English' and rescanning fixes this bringing everything from Spotify back into the LMS library. Hello Philippe thank you for your kind support of this plugin I have a belcanto streamer old generation UpNp. I managed once to stream through roon with kind support of all forums on a macos system Since an upgrade on latest squeeze2upnp (not sure that is a reason ) I can't stream anymore My Refstram is recognised but doesn't play music. It works though under LMS the other device Marantz recognised by the config.xml works flawlessly Any help will be welcomed Best K 3705837059 +---+ |Filename: Capture décran 2022-01-28 à 10.46.17.jpg| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37059| +---+ cineon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72523 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
