MIP analyzable tracks - could you list a few filenames of these tracks. MIP won't analyze tracks shorter than 10 seconds, and sometimes tracks with a "-" won't analyze either, e.g. The Beatles Ob-la-di, ob-la da unless you change the file name to Ob - la - di, in other words it needs a blank either side of the dash.. SugarCube will use the parameters that you set up in it for MIP although I usually set the MIP mix parameters the same in both MIP and SugarCube. As MIP is now "abandon-ware" , other than on the Spicefly sugarCube site there is no documentation. A camel is a racehorse designed by a committee. Hi d6jg, While I am not entirely familiarized with the picoreplayer software as I am with Max2Play, I would still like to point to our open addon-structure, wherein everyone can add or even create any new software for Max2Play and implement it into the existing framework. Therein, a lot of new features and services can be added, combined and removed, giving you a much larger field of applications for the software. Aside from that general difference, we also consistently add new addons and update our existing ones to add more features from the first start. Thank you for the tips, Michael. I have got it working now, but it was a fiddly process! I'm wondering, why do you need a mysqueezebox.com to be setup and connected even if you are just playing Spotify locally with your own LMS? I switched one of the Booms over to mysqueezebox.com instead of my LMS, and noticed on the screen it was registered to someone else's email account. I emailed them, and kindly they deregistered the squeezebox Boom from their account. The strange thing was that they said they had never owned a Boom! So then manually added my credentials to the boom and logged it on. Went to the Mysqueezebox.com account and enabled Spotify for the menu. Then did the same locally. Restarded LMS and was able to select Spotify from the Orangesqueeze menu. Fantastic! One more Boom to do... And I hope the previous owner of that also answers their emails! I switched to Max2Play after my squeezeplug install died. The web interface for setting up M2P was so much easier than the old text based terminal interface on squeezeplug. Was up and running with LMS in 15 minutes - easy. Summary: the SPH plugin doesn't provide content selection, but only playback. You need the mysb.com credentials to be able to browse Spotify for music. One more Boom to do... And I hope the previous owner of that also answers their emails!
