That would be me in the phony ad. That is why I said steer clear of them. Surprised me right out of my drawers (well, if I wore any drawers):). True, Tom. I love your positive, upbeat attitude. I just seem to have hit a valley that has engulfed me with pain and depression. I know it is just part of life, but watching old friends and family members pass away is hard to deal with. I can barely muster the energy to watch my hair grow. Sorry if I have dumped a load of depression on you. God bless all of you, my friends. Sent from my iPad Begin forwarded message: > From: "Thomas E. Re: [QUAD-L] Mattress
One of my care givers has a Tempur-pedic and the twin size cost of thousand dollars. It would be that good for quadriplegic because they don't change positions to alleviate pressure. Still sleep on the old-fashioned waterbed with raffles and I never have a pressure sore. Re: [QUAD-L] 7 years today...
Congratulations Danny on seven years of surviving quadriplegia in July it will be 39 years for me and I know there are others on the west that have survived longer than I have. At the concert last week that had survived six years and when I told him 38 years he just looked at me and all and couldn't believe it. We exchanged email addresses and I gave him the link to the Quad list so I hope you will be joining. He said he had a lot of questions to ask I'm always so happy when I can introduce other quadriplegics to the Quad list as this list is so wonderful. Persons who are not quadriplegic don't understand our plight in life. Hope You were able to celebrate I always try to do something fun near my anniversary. I'd like to know about the tempurpedic too. Unless there has been some drastic changes, steer far clear of Comfort Direct. Speaking from experience -- bad, bad news. IMO, of course. [QUAD-L] Mattress
I've had one for about 4yrs now and its been great, but it is starting to cave-in (Soften up or sponge) I expect to use it for another 4yrs. I paid 1500.00 for it and a 100.00 for water proof cover. I have a full size adjustable bed so there was very little for me to chose from. Yes, I do recommend it, along with the water proof cover.

Re: [QUAD-L] Mattress
Hi Boobie, I went through mattress hell a few yrs ago.trying them in the store and got one home called dr bruce but did not like to hard. I found the best mattress for comfort, bends with our bed, and no pressure is the Bliss mattress. they are at sleepies. I love it. I think I got the 9 inch one but will check. They are not all the same and mine is I think their softest. but it is not to soft just comfortable because I can be moved easily on it. The temapedics were weird and I think you would be happy with the bliss as I am. they are expensive but worth it. who remembers a subscriber here that had a form mattress advertisement which he didn't approve of and was never compensated for a false endorsement? Bobbie, I'm not sure if it absorbs and can be washed. Best Wishes In a message dated 3/5/2013 3:44:19 P.M.
