Re: [QUAD-L] Wheelchair cushion's

2016-11-12 Thread Lori Michaelson
Hi Carolyn,

I do not know if you are referring to me about not putting an apostrophe to
make a word plural. I am actually anal about proper grammar, vocabulary and
spelling being used for since I use voice recognition software I often miss
(by not having time to proofread) what I may have said that makes a
sentence completely misunderstood.

If you noticed, many of us who use voice recognition software have words
coming across wrong but I have learned to look at the gist of their e-mails
and understand that they are using voice recognition software and may not
catch the typos.

I am under stress so much of the time and so tired that it has been even
more difficult to have time to proof read before sending any e-mail but my
friends and family understand my meaning. But I also understand where
you're coming from. :-)

The retired editor is coming out in me. Please do not put an apostrophe
to make a word plural. You only need to add the letter s in most cases.
So it should be cushions not cushion's. Don't mean to offend anybody,
just reminding everybody what they learned in grade school.

I tried the number of years ago but when I got home after the fitting it made a
pressure area so I took it back. I prefer the Roho and I have used for decades
they are good except for when the Cushion deflates and you do not know it. You
must check every day. Dana

. Here in California it actually benefits one to have Medi-Medi when it comes
to supplies but it takes awhile for the billing.

Hi Glenn,
I have had so much happen to me over the last eight months and been so busy
that I can't remember who actually wrote to me about something they use when
the Roho no longer worked for them but, in any case, that person thought that
the Ride Designs cushions offered the best for stability and pressure relief,
etc. etc. etc.

I don't know what we are going to do with what the future is going to bring re:
pain for durable medical equipment. Medicare alone is covering less and less
and less and although many feel safe being on some sort of Medicaid... that is
not going to always be available in my humble opinion.
