range. It's sure gets so e good bids. It's great that you're combining a love

The pictures that owners, like yourself, have posted of their Clems really show
better than the RBW online pics how classy the frames are. Definitely looks
likd a Rivendell, even with the curving TT.

2016-04-08 Thread Allingham II, Thomas J. (Retired Partner)
Finished – just in time! – a Clementine build for my daughter's school charity
auction – a few pics are below.

This really does have to be the most flexible frameset ever. This build is a
little goofy for a Rivendell, but by now I think I know the audience, and this
should attract some bidding attention. And even with the goofy pieces, I think
it still looks great. I can guarantee that it rides great.

It's a 52cm in Aqua, bought as a whole bike from John at Rivelo. I changed the
saddle (obviously!) to a flashy-colored cruiser-y Electra, and the tires to
cream Hetres (which made the fendering much easier), then added the Aqua Brooks
Slender grips, a tasty Electra ding-dong bell, a Nantucket bike basket, and VO
Zeppelin fenders. I hope this doesn't get me kicked out of the group!

All,

I thought I'd mention that everything in my shop is on sale and I am offering
free shipping on everything with the exception of the bikes. There are a few
L/XL Walz wool caps available and one or two S/M cotton Walz caps. Also jerseys
and wind vests for those not newfangled material-aversive.

Dear 650b fans,

Good news; the revisions to the Pari-Moto mould are
complete, samples have been approved and the tires are headed to production.

We were delayed by 4-5 weeks because of the rework needed to the mould, but
hopefully we’ll still get tires here by the end of March.

Again, a big thanks to all those who supported this project
early on and made the Pari-Moto a reality!

Cheers,

[RBW] FW: the Pari-Moto

2009-08-05 Thread Frederick, Steve

Please excuse the non-riv product post, but this is important to 650b fans
everywhere. Kirk Pacenti, the man who brought 650b to the mountain bike world,
is working on a new, fast 38mm road tire--exactly the tire we 650b fans have
been wishing for. Catch is he wants to pre-sell enough pairs to defray the
molding and set up costs and he's set a deadline of 8/15!

If you are at all interested in the future of 650b, you should get in on
this...information about the tire and how to pre-order below. And more
discussion of it in the 650b mailing list archives linked at the end of this
forwarded message!

Dear B'ers,
Peter's comments are right on the mark. Simply put, the tire will perform as
well or better than any other 650b tire currently produced.
As for orders, they are really starting to pour in now, but we still have a
long way to go with just 10 days left.
Please keep in mind this tire can't happen without everyone's support; spread
the word amongst your friend and associates and cross-post this thread
whereever appropriate. This is your chance to really put the means of
production in the hands of the people.
You are all doing a great thing by making this tire happen... keep up the good
work! And most importantly, click here to place an order if you haven't done
so already. http://tinyurl.com/knza73
