Summary Description:



The primary responsibility of this position is the development of reports
and modification of existing reports written primarily in Java, in a
multi-threaded UNIX environment. This position requires a good working
knowledge of relational databases, and data collection processes.  Developer
will typically program in Java, Oracle SQL, and XML to create the queries
and modules necessary to interface with the database to satisfy reporting
requirements. Position responsibilities will include the development and
maintenance of meaningful, accurate, and thoroughly tested reports for
production or special use, using batch, standardized, and graphical
reporting methodologies.  Unit testing must be followed with full
integration testing and Quality Assurance testing support and bug fixes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform data analysis based on specification provided by System Engineering
and assist in creating or create a data mapping document.

Build reports using Jasper and iReports.

Write and optimize SQL queries for the reports and operational measurements.

Build an integration environment where reports can be tested at high volume.

Verify that each coding path is unit tested and bug free.

Verify that reports meet functional specifications.

Participate in full integration testing.

Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during formal QA testing.



Candidate Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelors Degree (preferably in Computer Science or similar discipline) from
a four-year college or equivalent experience.



Knowledge & Skills:

Quality orientation with a strong eye for detail.

Structured approach towards development of processes and procedures.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong analytical skills.



Experience:

Bachelors Degree (preferably in Computer Science or similar discipline) from
a four-year college or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years programming experience developing software using Java.

Minimum 1 year of programming experience with Jasper Reports and XML.

We are looking for someone with User Interface/User Experience Developer

(WPF) application.

The candidate should be able to conduct / facilitate design sessions and

Main Responsibilities:

Ultimately, the designer should be able to turn over a XAML UI to the
developers who will then wire the business logic up to the UI.
Candidate is expected to review the overall product and help break up the

Candidate will need to work with multiple dev leads with various
responsibilities across a large scale project, and insure that the work

Required Skills:
Qualified applicants will have competence in hand-coding XAML for UI
layouts; Style/Data composition with Control Templates and Data Templates;
simple vector graphics.
They will have comfort working with Subversion and Visual Studio 2008, and
have demonstrable experience working on medium-to-large Solutions.
Good written and spoken communication skills are important.
Very close attention to detail, pride in your work, and enthusiasm about
XAML/WPF are highly valued.
Basic web dev skills are required as there is some integration of html
assets into the WPF desktop.

Desired Skill Set:
Experience with: custom Window chrome, Bindings, Animation, and C# are great
to have, but not essential.
Professional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript - also a big plus.
Financial industry experience is a plus and would give an edge to otherwise

Main thing is looking for a solid tester that understand “business”.  This
is functional testing of the supply chain app.



RedPrairie is a required.



Any Automated experience is a big plus.   As they are going to bring in some
automated tools eventually.   But must be very strong with manual testing.
Must know what unit testing, regression testing, and stress testing are.
They won’t necessarily be doing these things.  But if they understand them
it will prove their knowledge of testing.



This is a Manual Tester with RedPrairie experience.   She will may also
consider other WMS systems secondary with Manhattan being the second choice.





QA Consultant needed to assist in Functional testing of Supply Chain,
running manual scripts and writing scripts.

 - Red Prairie exp is a hire

- All the testing is manual.  They aren’t running any automated tools right
now.   This is a very long term contract.   She said could run up to 3

The person will be involved in taking source code from Source Control
