Magic ... just what I was asking about on the gb list ;)
I need to add ward boundaries and this shows they ARE missing.

I didn't know, thanks for the info. It suits my needs very well,
spotted right away that SollefteƄ needs a bit of attention. Thanks
again.

Just for you information in case that might suits your needs :

The coverage is world wide, and admin_level 4,5,6,7,8,10 are in seperate
layers.
This tool was created for France at first, but then extended to world coverage.
In case you absolutely need the admin_level 9 (not used in France) I can add
it if that's needed.

[OSM-talk] OSMI Boundaries Views

I don't mind, but please change the subject next time (as I have done now),
or even better, start a new thread. That helps keeping things tidy and
easier to distinguish different discussions.

The boundaries view is very old, from a time when there weren't that many
boundaries around. Today it is IMHO pretty much unusable because it is too
slow and there is too much data. Adding more layers would make it worse.
Also it is only available for Europe.

We'll probably need a tool thats more powerful then OSMI and lots of time
to implement it, to really improve the situation. I had some discussions
with Frederik already about a better boundary tool, but without some
funding I don't think we'll get that soon. :-(
