Thanks for the feedback. In fact, the openstreetmap.es
 page is still under (re)construction. We have
yet to add:
- a contact/association info for organisms and press
- a how to contribute
- a how to use
- a faq
etc.

About the map: it was a last minute addition -an osm-based map with a
nice api and rendering. It wasn't until later that I realized that most
features and amenities are not rendered directly, but treated on a
separate vector layer.

However, for the last days I have been busy moving between homes and I
currently do not have a stable internet connection. I will fix those
things as soon as possible.

Anyway, we want people to participate on osm.org  , so I
am not sure about how much information to put on "our" page: it must be
enought to become a good landing place (many Spaniards do have problems
with English) but not too much in order to let them jump and explore the
main map page, the wiki, 3rd party services and apps,...

Any help and feedback is appreciated.

thanks for answer - i think one of the important think in ES is to make 
the people "hot" for osm to get more person for mapping.

nice to see the new conception - very good an with news ...!!!


one idea to you - the mapa is from mapquest. would it be nice for the 
sice to show what is possible with osm - and the data?? so add the 
layer-switch-button on the map-window and add ciclymap - hiking map - 
etc.

Hello

A ver, resumen:

Estoy terminando la funcionalidad para que el login en la página sea con oauth 
(es decir
con el login y pass que tenemos en osm) una vez que tenga esto listo la página 
estará
abierta para todo el mundo.

Cosas que necesito/necesitaré

-Contenidos.
Si alguien tiene alguna noticia, evento planificado, tutorial, truco, etc y que 
lo quiera
ver publicado que me envie un correo y yo lo meteré en la versión actual

-Diseño.
El que tenemos está fusilado miserablemente de la web de los alemanes, si 
alguien tiene
mano con la parte creativa es muy fácil modificar todo ya que está basado en 
plantillas.

-Ideas.
Si hay algo que considerais que se pueda añadir, eliminar, mejorar respecto a 
lo que tienen
los alemanes se puede intentar incluir.

Pues eso

Ya he terminado la primera parte de la adecuación del sitio aleman y a falta de 
implementar algunas cosillas no vitales la web ya funciona.

Cosas que necesito

*** Contenidos
Aunque me falta la parte de administración ya se pueden meter contenidos en la 
base de datos a pelo.
Me basta con un título, un texto corto de resumen y otro largo (no hace falta 
que sea muy largo)

*** mod_rewrite
Algun gurú de apache que me diga como traducir

http://www.openstreetmap.es/seccion.php/contacto 
y similares

*** bug report
Si veis alguna cosa que falla o sin traducir también me viene bien

*** css masters
El diseño es lo que tienen los alemanes, si alguien quiere modificar cosas 
adelante

Y que sean fáciles :P
