Failures to start The Bat
Hello , Had a problem trying to start The Bat today with access violations. I did not keep track of the precise info in the windows. There were two. I did find the events which have something like: Faulting application name: TheBat.exe, version: 10.3.3.0, time stamp: 0x63a42769 Faulting module name: TheBat.exe, version: 10.3.3.0, time stamp: 0x63a42769 Exception code: 0xc005 Fault offset: 0x00010b59 Faulting process id: 0x3144 Faulting application start time: 0x01d929b89dcba6ff The second was the same except had: Fault offset: 0x0001066f It might have been something checking for a new version on start up since I discovered a new version released (10.3.3.3). Once I installed this it started fine. -- Best regards, Spencer mailto:spen...@cse-inc.com 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: 9.4.5.2
Hello Mark & Stefan, I also noticed this happening for quite a few versions. The Bat! seems to lock up and is unresponsive. If I drag another window to cover the email display completely, control returns. -- Best regards, Spencermailto:spen...@cse-inc.com Thursday, December 9, 2021, 3:13:11 AM, you wrote: > Hello Stefan, > Monday, December 6, 2021, 7:02:51 PM, you wrote: >> https://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tb9.4.5.2-x64-full.7z > Often freezes on certain messages and it takes time before it becomes alive > again (sometimes only after changing focus to another program). > > I think i'll go back to the Halloween-version... > Kind regards, > Mark > > using The Bat! Re: 8.2.8.9
Hello Maxim, Is 8.2.8.9 available? I missed a few versions and figure that might be better to go back to instead of 8.2.8.2. I am still having crashes, and attempts to connect to google that require killing the Bat. -- Best regards, Spencermailto:spen...@cse-inc.com Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 12:15:23 PM, you wrote: > The Bat! 8.2.8.9 (BETA) is available at > https://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tb8289-32.rar > https://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tb8289-64.rar > What's new in 8.2.8.9 since 8.2.8.8: > [-] (#0001456) Fixed an access violation on exit when The Bat! was > configured to be minimizable to tray > > Current beta is 8.2.8.8 | 'Using TBBETA' information: > http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html Current beta is 8.3.0.2 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Re: version 8.3 and google
Hello Dwight, I am having the same problem often. The Bat opens a window to have me sign into google to allow access. When this happens I cannot close the window or use the cancel button because it opens again instantly. If I do sign into google and grant permission it still will not allow me to close the window. While the window is open it will not let me use The Bat is any way. The only thing I can do is use Task Manager to kill The Bat. -- Best regards, Spencermailto:spen...@cse-inc.com Thursday, March 29, 2018, 5:08:52 PM, you wrote: > On Saturday, March 24, 2018, 5:58:36 PM, Maxim Masiutin wrote: >> The Bat! 8.3.0.2 is available at >> https://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tb8302-32.rar >> https://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tb8302-64.rar > With this latest version, I am constantly interrupted by google, with > a panel showing that the bat is seeking permissions to do certain > things.
