I used to use MrPostman to get my messages from Yahoo and then used
TheBat! to get the messages from a local port on my PC. However when
Yahoo recently changed all e-mail accounts to 100MB this method broke
and I no longer could retrieve e-mail without logging onto the Yahoo
web interface.

I still use MrPostman for Hotmail, but changed tbudl and tbot to my
isp address. I am too lazy to try to fix Yahoo and occasionally log
on just for the e-mail or two that still lands there.

You should have. It's been very active.

No. Thankfully! :)

Plenty of traffic.

PK> 3./ Is my ISP cutting them off?

Have to ask the ISP?

PK> Any suggestion.

If you don't mind having a Yahoo! ID (or already have one) go there
and have a look at the archives. (Click on the groups URL at the
bottom of any tbot message in your tbot folder--which I hope you
have?)

One month, puh. I am subscribed to several lists (incl. FinePrint's

Yesterday was a quiet day on TBOT. Sometimes it gets like that, all
mailing lists do. I'm on one where I've not had a post in over a month,
but every now and again, it spikes up, and there is a flurry of posts.
It isn't unusual.

It stands for The Bat! off Topic list. It was started by a member of
this discussion list during the days when off-topic discussions were
really common and the dead horse flag was getting the broken record
status. It has indeed helped a lot in this regard.
