Not much to report in the Lost & Found Department this year, for once, yay!

The owner is happy, the park is clean. Next years deposit is paid, no date set

I didn’t want to harsh your mellow, on Saturday night, but 2017 was my last TCR 
as Director. I did six TCRs. I’m sorry folks, it was fun, rewarding and an 
adventure! My resignation is on a high point, I feel, with TCR is in good shape 
with a head start on 2018, with a year to solve my absence.

The music was very very good! 
The food was very very good! Great job!!
We had INTERNATIONAL Cavers visit from Mexico!
We had David Locklear!
The NSS represented!
The Texas Contingent represented!
The Aggies had a challenging Speleolympics course!
There was a REBELAY course!
We had a hot tub, sauna AND spring water!
There was a SLIDESHOW!
There were POWERWAGONS in service!
There was a HUGE board game.
There were barbarian Viking HOARDS!!
We had MUD GLADIATORS!!
There was schmoozing, I SAW IT!
People smiled!
What more can you ask for?

Shout Shout, Here Here! Pete has been bringing his hot tube and
sauna to TCR, and several NSS Conventions in Texas , longer than
many of the younger attendees have been alive!

The cooks and crew also deserve thanks, because they always work
hard, even if your taste buds have different opinions from year to
year.

I didn't make it this year, but it sounds like a good TCR. Best
wishes to those who want to take on Don's job.

Most registered attendees who had grandchildren

Oldest active caver in attendance -the one and only Sir Fritz, The
Grandmaster Flash of Caving.

Best beer ever - Pedernales (PBC ? )

Most beautiful women in attendance.Should have done a group photo of
that.  Although 1985 was probably just as good.

Loudest crying baby at 5 a.m. thanks to me, David Locklear, and my
super-duper-squeaky old cot.

Most attendees with bad knees.

Least number of party-poopers ?

M.C. now owns the record for most hot girlfriends brought to TCR at 22, I
think.  I lost count at 19.   She made a fine Viking slave-driver.

I heard 36 naked people squeezed in the hot-tub and 25 in the sauna.

Carl Kunath for most attendance at major Texas caver gatherings counting
pre-TCR and NSS Conventions, etc.  at 122, I think.

Yes, it was great seeing everybody and our dogs had a really fun time trying to 
clean up all of the spilled food on the ground. Marley & Bandit gave TCR a big 
paws up! They were still exhausted this morning, always a good sign of a fun 
weekend.

as Director. I did six TCRs. I’m sorry folks, it was fun, rewarding and an 
adventure! My resignation is on a high point, I feel, with TCR is in good shape 
with a head start on 2018, with a year to solve my absence.

The music was very very good! 
The food was very very good! Great job!!
We had INTERNATIONAL Cavers visit from Mexico!
We had David Locklear!
The NSS represented!
The Texas Contingent represented!
The Aggies had a challenging Speleolympics course!
There was a REBELAY course!
We had a hot tub, sauna AND spring water!
There was a SLIDESHOW!
There were POWERWAGONS in service!
There was a HUGE board game.
There were barbarian Viking HOARDS!!
We had MUD GLADIATORS!!
There was schmoozing, I SAW IT!
People smiled!
What more can you ask for?
