In that case result would be null and the convert method would throw an IllegalArgumentException. To the point we had to subclass the Protocol class to block this case. Its a critical problem for a production server with multiple virtual hosts. granted its a typo, but still. I will check with the latest in 4 series, and with tomcat 5. If its still there with Tomcat 4, is it likely to get fixed.
