The reasoning behind including both of these is that today is the UIFreeze after which I cannot go in a new direction as far as UI elements go. Including both now allows us to still try things out without breaking the freeze. I will say that one place where this is an improvement is in Firefox on light colored backgrounds. The previous theme showed a bit of gray around the corners of the buttons.
