Hi Yasunori Endo Which version are you actually referring to? 6.4.3.2 does not exist yet. I assume you used 6.3.4.2 I tried with the latest pre-release, 6.4 RC1, and the bug that is described, i.e. the issue with selecting two *shapes* (the blue rectangles), is not reproducible. If you refer to the issue with selecting two *pictures* or *one picture and one shape*, you are looking for bug 34438, just like explained in comment 62. [Bug 1757068] Re: Night light brakes when screen dims
Okay I just did some more testing on only my built-in laptop display. It is not the "dim screen when inactive" setting that breaks the night light, that works fine, the screen is dimmed at once, and the night light is still active. What breaks the night light is the progressive dimming of the screen brightness that directly precedes the blanking of the screen when the "blank screen" setting is on (i.e. not set to "never"). When the night light is "broken" by the pre-blanking progressive dimming, it does not re-activate either when stopping the process by moving the mouse, nor when turning the display on again after the screen was blanked. To re-activate the night light, we have to go to the Night Light settings / widget and turn it off and on again. [Bug 1757068] Re: Night light brakes when screen dims
I believe I have the same issue. I originally reported it as the current duplicate Bug #1791659. The issue is as described here: the night light mode turns off as the screen starts dimming right before it blanks. The mode then needs to be turned off and on to work again. If I have an external monitor connected, as "join monitors", the external monitor is the one that loses the night light, whereas the built-in display still has it. The workaround around this is unplugging and plugging the screen back in. I use the following: gnome-control-center version: 1:3.28.2-0ubuntu0.18.04.2 gnome-shell version: 3.28.3-0ubuntu0.18.04.2 System details: OS: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS x86_64 Host: N230WU Kernel: 4.15.0-33-lowlatency Uptime: 3 days, 1 hour, 12 mins Packages: 2921 Shell: bash 4.4.19 Resolution: 1920x1080, 1920x1080 DE: Budgie WM: Mutter(Budgie) Theme: Adwaita [GTK2/3] Icons: Adwaita [GTK2/3] Terminal: tilix CPU: Intel i7-8550U (8) @ 4.000GHz GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620 Memory: 4168MiB / 15918MiB -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1757068 Title: Night light brakes when screen dims To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1757068/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1274433] Re: 64 bit gnome-maps fails to open in Ubuntu GNOME 14.04.
This happened to me (Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits, gnome-maps 3.10.2-1ubuntu1) the first time I installed the package: nothing would happen when launching it. So I uninstalled it, and when I wanted to check something after seeing this bug report, I re-installed it (I restarted the computer between installations) and now it works fine. Hi Raymond Thank you for looking into this. It is true that my Asus F201E has only one jack port for mic + headphones. [Bug 1257956] Re: Headphones stopped working after use of Audacity. They are detected, but no sound is produced.
I have the exact same problem. I was not sure what it came from at the beginning but today it was clearly Audacity that stops my headphone port from working. I was listening to music before through the same headphones, with different apps. As soon as I opened the same sound with Audacity, my headphone port stopped working whereas I can unplug them and use my laptop speakers. After that, even out of Audacity, I can not use my headphones with the apps that worked before then. I only hear little breathing sounds every time a sound/song is supposed to start, or when the sound/song is supposed to finish and the app releases the sound system. It takes several reboots before it eventually start working again, sometimes after a few days. I have no idea what happens but it is an extremely disrupting problem as I can not make any music without good quality headphones. I am using Ubuntu 13.10 64bits with Audacity 2.0.5 Please let me know if I can give you something else to help fix this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1257956 Title: Headphones stopped working after use of Audacity. [Bug 1252619] [NEW] Evince does not scroll with mouse wheel when not in focus
Public bug reported: Since a recent Evince update, it is not possible to use the mouse wheel to scroll up and down the document when not in focus. [Bug 1161776] Re: Failed to download repository information
I have seen this message for a few days. I see two problems here: 1. The user clicks try again because they think it might fix the problem and actually find updates. Because of the message Check your Internet connection, the user thinks it is a problem on their end. They probably think that clicking ok will just close the software updater and do nothing. 2. There should be an option like see details in order to be able to localise the problematic repository or ppa. Without that option, the Settings... button is useless, as it does not direct to a solution to fix the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1161776 Title: Failed to download repository information To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1161776/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 656519] Re: Window management - Alt+Space window accessibility menu should not be accessible by right clicking on a window title bar
Bug #1098419 proposes to implement right click on panel for maximised windows. John Lea just marked it as a duplicate of this bug, action I reverted as those two bugs have two opposite objectives. About this issue: - I understand something might be difficult to implement. However, the discoverability of alt+space is extremely low (first time I hear about it in 5 years of Ubuntu), and most users do not use alt+xxx keybindings for everyday use of their system. - I do not get why there such little input from the developpers/desing team in these comments to justify the unilateral decision that has been made here by linking some kind of discussion that happened elsewhere. Most comments here strongly oppose this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/656519 Title: Window management - Alt+Space window accessibility menu should not be accessible by right clicking on a window title bar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/656519/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1098419] Re: Panel should be right-clickable when window is maximised with global menu enabled
** Description changed: - Currently, it is possible to right click on the name bar of a windows to get the drop-down menu allowing the following actions: + Currently, it is possible to right click on the name bar of a window to get the drop-down menu allowing the following actions: - Minimise - Maximise - Move - Resize - Always on top - Always on visible workspace - Only on this workspace - Move to workspace x - Move to workspace y - Move to another workspace ... - Close However, when a window is maximised and the top bar is merged with the panel, allowing the global menu, there is no way to access this menu, except going back to windowed mode, thus adding an extra step to execute an action like moving the window to another workspace. This is not expected as the panel is already dragable and double- clickable. WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: The top panel's empty space should be right-clickable in order to be able to access those options as easily as in windowed mode. Another option, not as good as the first one, would be to add another drop-down menu in the global menu, that would appear only when the window is maximised. The advantage would be the ability to use those actions with the HUD; however, adding a Window drop-down menu would interfere with apps that already have one, like LibreOffice Writer, and would probably end up being more confusing. - ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: gnome-panel (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-22.34-generic 3.5.7.2 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-22-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.6.1-0ubuntu9 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Jan 11 14:22:24 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2012-10-21 (81 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal - Release i386 (20121017.2) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_AU:en PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=set LANG=en_AU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-panel UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1098419 Title: Panel should be right-clickable when window is maximised with global menu enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/1098419/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1072535] Re: Launcher in auto-hide mode reveals and hides frequently while pointer still hovers over it on high GPU/RAM load
I still have this problem with 12.10 up to date with proposed. It's not just the launcher that is a problem, but the whole system is very frequently very sluggish... Attached is a screenshot of the system monitor CPU graph when this happens. The CPU load goes most of the time up to 100%, whereas the RAM stays at 60% in that case (just Chromium, PCManFM and Thunderbird are open). Does this tell you anything else? I am really willing to fix this as this is my primary computer for home and work and it just slows me down so much... I reckon I use twice as much time to get things done... I am trying to use lighter apps, like PCManFM, but it doesn't help... Please let me know what extra information I can provide. Cheers ** Attachment added: Graph at high CPU load https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1072535/+attachment/3569396/+files/High%20CPU%20load.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072535 Title: Launcher in auto-hide mode reveals and hides frequently while pointer still hovers over it on high GPU/RAM load To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1072535/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 952694] Re: Toggling Bluetooth off also Disables Wifi Networking (Wifi Hardware Switched Off)
I am experiencing this too on an HP Pavilion dm1 with a fresh install of 12.04 up to date. Is anyone still having the same problem? And could anyone say if they think those ones are duplicates: Bug #962621 Bug #912488 Cheers -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/952694 Title: Toggling Bluetooth off also Disables Wifi Networking (Wifi Hardware Switched Off) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/952694/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1063487] Re: Desktop icons/files gets mixed up and overlapped on boot from time to time
Just to add to this, I am still having the problem with Nautilus on 12.10 i686, and replacing Nautilus by PCManFM as the default file manager (and tweaking it so it manages the desktop to, as described here: http://askubuntu.com/a/257456/29270) fixes the problem - PCManFM always reorganises the icons neatly when changing the screen resolution without any problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063487 Title: Desktop icons/files gets mixed up and overlapped on boot from time to time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1063487/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1035208] Re: touchpad stops working (moving the pointer doesn't work)
Hi there. I believe I experience the same problem. Here is what happened: I clicked on a tab in Chromium, and it got stuck with a right-click menu. I thought it was X and I had to reboot, but I used a USB mouse instead, and everything works fine. The touchpad still doesn't work, the pointer doesn't move. However, I can scroll normally (right side) and use the touchpad buttons normally. Funny thing though: clicking with the touchpad (i.e. touching it once) gives the same result as a right-click. Should this be a duplicate of Bug #830099? Or do we have a different problem? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1035208 Title: touchpad stops working (moving the pointer doesn't work) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ac100/+bug/1035208/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
