[Bug 1283203] Re: gjs-console crashed with SIGSEGV in g_bytes_unref()
I was able to reproduce the crash with gjs version 1.39.90-0ubuntu1 in trusty. The scenario is more complicated than just close the application, yet this is the moment that crash occurs. What I did before crash: Scrolled through the map, zoomed in and out, switched to satellite view and back to street view, used search to find some location, etc. just common stuff. One of those actions together with closing is causing the crash. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1283203 Title: gjs-console crashed with SIGSEGV in g_bytes_unref() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gjs/+bug/1283203/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1283203] Re: gjs-console crashed with SIGSEGV in g_bytes_unref()
Tim, Here are the exact steps that cause crash on my machine: 1. Run gnome-maps from terminal. 2. Search for: Wielopole 1, Kraków. Hit enter. 3. Choose second result by clicking on it. 4. After it moves the map, close the application by clicking the 'x' in the top right corner. 5. At this point I can see in terminal 'core dumped'. A couple of other things don't work on it with 3.10.6, sadly. I have openSUSE 12.3 installed on it. Thanks, Rafael I get the same behavior when using 3.10.6 and 3.11.rc5. The system fails to suspend for the second time (first time always works fine).
