[Bug 1368411] Re: Cannot insert IPV6 rule before IPV4 rules

2017-11-15 Thread Toni Lähdekorpi
How is this still an issue?

I tried the patch with 0.35-0ubuntu2 in xenial:

+ if r.position != 0 and r.position <= num_v4:
+ r.position = num_v4 + 1

And it works perfectly. Couldn't this be merged as there is no obvious
downside on recalculating the rule position for IPv6 addresses?

So, are there going to be different versions with alternative letters for each
supported language in Ubuntu?
Like O for Finnish and P for Spanish, etc.
Or how are the translator teams supposed to cope with this?

[Bug 1055766] Re: grep -R doesn't automatically search amazon

2012-09-28 Thread Toni Lähdekorpi
We are also wasting a lot of valuable space when printing.

CUPS should be fixed to include ads in all the empty spaces when printing
documents.
Not only that, but also use printers with an option to print to both sides, to
automatically includes ads to the back of every document.

[Bug 948954] [NEW] Black Screen With Xorg fglrx

2012-03-07 Thread Toni Lähdekorpi
Public bug reported:

I've got a iMac with ATI Radeon HD 4670 running Ubuntu 12.04 (also tried 11.10,
same results).
Opensource driver works relatively well, except that Unity 3D is almost
completely unusable and buggy.

Tried both, the installer from AMD and fglrx from jockey, the behavior is the
same.
I installed the latest Catalyst driver, rebooted and got a black screen.
Trying to switch to a TTY console after trying to start Xorg doesn't work.
I need a reboot each time to test.

From xorg.log:

[Bug 107319] Re: nm-applet doens't detect devices

2007-04-19 Thread Toni Lähdekorpi
I modified it last time when I had Hoarty (If I remember correctly), after
that, all modifications to /etc/network/interfaces have been done with Ubuntu
network configuration, NetworkManager and KNetworkManager.
It was working fine, I didn't modify the file, it just stopped working on an
upgrade.

Is there a simple way to make network-manager not to ignore it?

After modifying '/etc/network/interfaces' file, I restarted NetworkManager and
I can connect to the network, however I need to set my IP-configuration
manually, after that I can connect and it works. But after being connected for
a few seconds, it asks for my WEP key again.
If I close it or enter the key, network stops working.
This happens every time...

And a RaLink
03:00.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI

They both used to work just fine until I upgraded to 0.6.4-6ubuntu7

# NetworkManager --no-daemon --enable-test-devices
