[Bug 382315] Re: cron.daily doesn't execute scheduled scripts
Some days ago I have started my PC and syslog sayd: May 14 08:40:56 ramses anacron[6696]: Anacron 2.3 started on 2009-05-14 May 14 08:40:56 ramses anacron[6696]: Will run job `cron.daily' in 5 min. ... ... Moreover my anacrontab has a period of 1 day and my PC was off for about 3-4 days, so the jobs weren't executed for more than 1 day (that it seems the period after the which anacron starts the job) and they should have been run. If I watched /var/spool/anacron/cron.daily file I could see the timestamp updated to 20090514 so anacron assumed that the jobs were executed but this wasn't. -- cron.daily doesn't execute scheduled scripts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 382309] [NEW] openoffice base reports keep crashing

[Bug 347902] Re: Sony Walkman NWZ-S618F in Ubuntu 9.04
Your English is far far better than my Italian, Roberto ;-) You are correct, I hadnt noticed but if Rhythmbox is already running then the player will immediately connect to Rythymbox as WALKMAN and there is access to music etc. No icon appears on the desktop. Interestingly if the player is unplugged then Rythymbox shuts down. I checked and gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor is running. If I connect the player without Rhythmbox already running, then the desktop icon appears first then Rythymbox autostarts but does not connect to the player. I have noticed this as well, but mostly when watching video content that stresses the CPU more at certain points, when there is a lot of movement. [Bug 317564] Re: Upgrade to Subversion 1.6.x for Karmic
I asked the Debian maintainer in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=531366 why 1.6.x hasn’t moved out of Debian experimental yet, and got a detailed response. The three issues he mentioned look relatively minor, and the second isn’t an issue for Ubuntu (we already disable serf because it’s in universe), but we should be aware of them and of the fact that 1.6.x in experimental might not get updates as frequently as 1.5.x in unstable would. I think we should still get 1.6.x into Karmic; there is plenty of time to work out any remaining issues. But if we want to stay with 1.5.x for now, we should at least merge 1.5.6 from testing/unstable (debdiff in bug 382002). -- Upgrade to Subversion 1.6.x for Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/317564 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 382293] [NEW] package bluez-utils 3.26-0ubuntu6 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127 in Intrepid
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bluez I'm trying to install bluez-utils_3.26-0ubuntu6_amd64.deb and related 3.x libraries in place of the 4.x libraries because they don't currently support my Linksys Bluetooth adaptor. I got all the 3.x libraries installed and working properly, and now my Bluetooth adaptor works again! My problem is that there is an error whenever trying to configure bluez- utils_3.26. I can ignore this error and everything works fine. But it is really annoying because I keep seeing the "package bluez-utils 3.26-0ubuntu6 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127" error every time I install a new package. Can an updated 3.x package be released for Intrepid (ubuntu 9.0.4)? Or can I make some setting to this message is always automatically ignored? The long term fix is to get a version of bluez 4.x that works with my adaptor, but that is not available yet.
