[Bug 542748] Re: gwibber crashed with AttributeError in on_search()
@Kamus I'll be honest, I haven't used Gwibber for awhile now (been using my phone). I downloaded the latest build as per your link. I'm running it this morning and it seems different, better. Was able to perform a search and see the results right away. A new stream got created (its a bit difficult to notice the new stream as the only indication of it is a horizontal scroll bar), everything looks great. New messages seem to be streaming in at my defined rate for Twitter, Facebook and all my Twitter search streams. Will start using it again and give you more feedback in a day or two but so far it seems great (again!). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/542748 Title: gwibber crashed with AttributeError in on_search() -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 554106] Re: Gnome Appearance Properties dialog hangs when changing desktop effects
I got the latest code last night via Update Manager and this problem still occurred. I took the advice of another post here and I ran sudo apt-get install compiz. Of course compiz was already installed BUT according to apt-get there was a few files that did need to be updated. [Bug 542266] Re: package myspell-en-za 1:3.2.0~rc2-1ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script killed by signal (Killed)
I tried running the command you suggested. I didn't notice anything crash as a result. You have to bear in mind that this may have been a result of an upgrade to v10.04 from 9.10 that did not complete. The upgrade was stopped at configuring NTP (?). I left it like that for over half-an-hour and nothing changed. The system was active but the upgrade window was unresponsive. I hit CTRL-C in an attempt to cancel the upgrade but all that happened as a result of that was that the screen eventually went black. I pressed the power button to turn it off, then attempted to start up as normal. X was not displaying anything so I again hard-restarted the PC. When GRUB came up I noticed a recovery option. I chose that. From what I can tell it attempted to reinstall missing and erroneous packages. When it was done I started X (startx). It didn't seem right, I restarted it again. When it came up there were many crashes. I reported several, this was one. -- package myspell-en-za 1:3.2.0~rc2-1ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script killed by signal (Killed) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/542266 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
