[Bug 353989] Re: Import saves images in home root
There's a comment in bug 354264 that explains the cause of this problem and provides a patch to fix it. The bug is in the ubuntu patchset and the maintainer of those should consider the supplied patch and releasing a bugfix via the ubuntu repos. -- Import saves images in home root https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/353989 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 353989] Re: Import saves images in home root
It may very well be so, I just marked them both to make some with the permissions to merge bugs to take note of this and combine them. If "upstream" means the f-spot team, they seem to be convinced that this is a bug in the ubuntu patches, not in the original source code. Therefore, the maintainer of the ubuntu patches need to look into them. -- Import saves images in home root https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/353989 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 354264] Re: Imports all photos to the root of the home directory
I can confirm this behaviour as well. I upgraded to 9.04 today, from 8.10. Imported photos goes into my home directory, and not into Photos. F-spot is configured to import into "Photos", and the folder does exist. Very annoying. -- Imports all photos to the root of the home directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/354264 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I am experiencing this same bug right now. Has anything been done to correct it? [Bug 129867] Re: Incorrect rendering of account tabs under XGL and Compiz
I think that the gnucash register is a custom widget developed by the gnucash people. At least that's what's hinted in this thread about this very problem on the gnucash-user mailing list: http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2007-October/022098.html Could that be a source of the problem? -- Incorrect rendering of account tabs under XGL and Compiz https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 129867] Re: Incorrect rendering of account tabs under XGL and Compiz
I can confirm that this bug DOES appear on i386, NOT only on AMD64. Those are my packages: gnucash 2.2.1-1ubuntu4 compiz 1:0.6.0+git20071008-ubuntu1.1 xorg-driver-fglrx 7.1.0-8.37.6+2.6.22-14.1~ppa1 I don't have an ATI card, so I don't have a nvidia-glx package. The bug only appears when "Visual effects" is turned on, so the workaround with setting "Visual effects" to none works for me too. But that makes the desktop very slow for some reason, so I really don't like doing that. -- Incorrect rendering of account tabs under XGL and Compiz https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
