Yes, use the proprietary driver or a get a new system with Intel Integrated Graphics. I did the latter eventually. [Bug 1430750] Re: Insecure Default Config leads to security issue
Allright, there is probably some reason this was removed in the original patch. If you don't want to do anything beyond what you've done already, that's fine by me. I won't fix this because I hate Launchpad with a passion; I just seem to have subscribed to tntnet bugs here somewhen, that's why I got involved. [Bug 999109] Re: complete freeze of Ubuntu after some time
UPDATE: The freeze only happens when I play Minecraft, so it has something to do with Java, but only the graphics part (could be openGL) because it doesn't happen if I only run a Minecraft server. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/999109 Title: complete freeze of Ubuntu after some time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/999109/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 999109] [NEW] complete freeze of Ubuntu after some time
Public bug reported: Since I upgraded to 12.10, my computer freezes randomly after some time. If I play Minecraft, it freezes after mac. 30min, if I use my computer normally it only freezes after 1 hour or more. I think it never happened if I used Gnome or Unity 2D (if I didn't play Minecraft there). I can't use the mouse or get into the console with Ctrl+Alt+F1, so I have to manually reboot the computer every time it freezes. [Bug 909450] Re: nautilus cannot be added as an application launcher
It should be easy to Pin but if not, and you can not find it via Dateien (standard German translation) you should add a launcher via Main Menu (somehow same in german).
