[Bug 88332] Re: low volume through headphones on HP Pavilion ZT3000 (ICH4) [edgy regression]
I have the same problem with my laptop using both Ubuntu/Kubuntu i386/AMD64 herd-5 live CDs, the volume from the speakers is too low and the sound from the headphones output is somewhat louder but as a lot of static. Should i open a new bug or is this the same issue? My laptop has a Intel 945PM Express chipset and a HDA Intel sound card. Sound works great in 6.10. ** Attachment added: "sndstat" http://librarian.launchpad.net/6646512/sndstat -- low volume through headphones on HP Pavilion ZT3000 (ICH4) [edgy regression] https://launchpad.net/bugs/88332 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 81731] nVidia kernel module version changes after reboot
Public bug reported: I have installed nVidia drivers 97.46 from the nVidia website and everything works fine in that session (3D accelaration, nvidia-settings) but if i restart my computer X won't load with a error: "Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module has the version 1.0-7184 but this X module has the version 1.0-9746. Please make sure that the kernel module and all NVIDIA driver components have the same version." Then if i build the nVidia kernel module again it will work for that session but if i restart the problem happens again. I have my system up to date and my graphics card is a Geforce Go 7300. But this also happens in my desktop with a Geforce 6800LE card. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- nVidia kernel module version changes after reboot https://launchpad.net/bugs/81731 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
