[Bug 2084662] [NEW] Hitting "send" does not do anything
Public bug reported: Somethings, when I hit "send", nothing happens. No error, nothing. Even if I run thunderbird in the terminal, I see no message or anything after pressing the "send" button. I have to save the draft, close thunderbird AND `pkill -f thunderbird`, then open thunderbird and the draft. Then, senting usually works. [Bug 217300]
I think we have to differenciate between two levels: - The ability to *securely* store passwords (with a master password or a key provided by the system's key manager) - The ability to securely *store passwords in the system's key manager*, where all my passwords live. I favor the second option. I'm not concerned about moving passwords between different systems (that should happen rarely). And if I happen to use multiple devices: That's what Sync is for. I am concerned about storing my passwords in a way that I trust: my system's key ring (storing keys is it's only purpose and I think it should be good at it). [Bug 1191510] [NEW] Wifi disconnects every 10 seconds in WPA/WPA2 enterprise
Public bug reported: If I connect to my university wifi (WPA/WPA2 enterprise, tunneled TLS, MSCHAPv2), after a short while I am disconnected and automatically connected again (~2 seconds connected, ~7 seconds disconnected). I will attach the output in syslog. At 14:36:30 the connection is established the first time. Then at 14:36:53 the interface is disconnected and at 14:36:59 connected again. This goes on without end. Ping shows the above mentioned timings: 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1694 ttl=49 time=8.22 ms 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1695 ttl=49 time=55.5 ms 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1702 ttl=49 time=8.31 ms 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1703 ttl=49 time=8.40 ms 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1711 ttl=49 time=9.61 ms 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1712 ttl=49 time=9.50 ms 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1719 ttl=49 time=8.36 ms 64 bytes from bk-in-f94.1e100.net (173.194.69.94): icmp_req=1720 ttl=49 time=8.66 ms This error only occurs, when I'm "connected" to the university network. [Bug 1191292] [NEW] Acrobat Reader doesn't show up in "Open with"-dialog
Public bug reported: I installed the acroread package and although I can start the application itself, I can not rightclick on a file and select "Open with Acrobat Reader"; the option doesn't show up. But if I fix /usr/share/applications/acroread.desktop accorting to http://ubuntugenius.wordpress.com/2012/06/18/ubuntu-fix-add-program-to- list-of-applications-in-open-with-when-right-clicking-files-in-nautilus/ so that it contains the line "Exec=acroread %f" (note the %f), then Acrobat Reader shows up. After installing linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.31-20-generic, according to my kernel version, i can adjust the volume again and flash in firefox works, too. The "Master" slide behaves correctly (the overall volume is controlled), the "Headphone" slide is without function (the value has no effect on the headphone's volume), "PCM" also controls overall volume, "Front" controls both, internal speakers and headphones, "Front Mic" doesn't affect normal playback, but "Mic" behaves like an alternative slide for "Master" (If the last volume setting is made with "Master", it's value is taken, if the last volume setting is made with "Mic", the "Mic"-value is taken). -- can't adjust volume with Intel 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller after updating to linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.31 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/535586 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
