2024-05-17 Thread Pieterjan Wintjes
Exactly,

If I stop Gimp when there are still some projects open, the crash occurs
when I restart Gimp. If I first close the projects, everything is ok

Re: [Bug 2065617] Re: GIMP crash at startup

2024-05-17 Thread Pieterjan Wintjes
Hi Michael,

Yes everytime I start the program. I get the message that '2 images were
saved, just before the crash. Would you like to recover them?'.
If I do try to recover them, they appear on the screen. Then I stop Gimp
and the crash information shows.

I just tried to end the program AFTER closing the images from the dropdown
menu 'Files' and restart Gimp, no crash in this case, so it looks like I
need to close everything before stopping Gimp.

Maybe this information helps...

[Bug 1450009] Re: [HP, Dell notebooks] suspends on closed lid, does not recognized external monitors/dock

2016-08-17 Thread Pieterjan Camerlynck
Since upgrading from 14.04 to 16.04.1 I'm experiencing the same problem.
When booting my Precision M4600 in the dock with two external monitors,
the laptop suspends immediately after login.

I've checked and /lib/udev/rules.d/70-power-switch.rules contains
SUBSYSTEM=="input", KERNEL=="event*", ATTRS{name}=="* WMI hotkeys",
TAG+="power-switch"

The laptop also suspends when switching from X to a tty. I'm using the
proprietary nvidia drivers.

[Bug 894456] Re: Please merge or sync new btrfs-tools from Debian testing or unstable - lots of bugs present in Ubuntu now :(

2012-05-25 Thread Pieterjan Van Uytvanck
Hi, I have a few questions, sorry if they are naive:
What is the best way to go about installing this fix in precise? Is it
compatible with precise?
Can we add a repository or just install the package with dpkg? If later updates
are provided in the repository for this package, will it automatically
update/upgrade with apt-get?

2007-11-17 Thread Pieterjan Lansbergen
@dieguito I have Ubuntu Gutsy installed. Kernel is 2.6.22-14-386.

Absolutely no r818x modules in sight in my Ubuntu release.
What am I doing wrong here?

My experience with the realtek card, spanning over the recent releases,
has been so far:

- Edgy, working out of the box
- Feisty, needed removing r818x from blacklist
- Gutsy, disappeared from modules and blacklist

Can anybody shad some light please?

[Bug 78255] Re: [2.6.20-12] rtl8180 gone missing.

2007-04-14 Thread Pieterjan Lansbergen
Same problem as all of you guys, with a rtl 8180

Using the suggested workaround (adding dummy char) worked like a charm.

Thanks a ton!
