[Bug 651008] Re: Regression in wireless performance under Maverick (broadcom)
Same here, I can confirm that. At first I haven't noticed that it only happened while on battery power, and after some testing it indeed is true. Also, the workaround suggested by David (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/651008/comments/4) does work as a charm. I guess it is too late to get it fixed for maverick, but I hope the fix comes along soon. [Bug 199600] Re: aptoncd crashed with DBusException in call_blocking()
Hi Youssef, I agree the package must be updated in hard, indeed. But the restore functionality is definitively not essential for using aptoncd. Once you have created the installation disc you can use it as any other APT-compatible media, you just put it into the CD/DVD-ROM drive and Ubuntu is going to ask you if you want to add the disc as an APT source, and by doing so you can install any package from the disc just using Synaptic/Add-Remove Applications/Update-Manager/apt-get/aptitude/adept or any other application manager compatible with the APT. Unfortunately does not seem to solve completely. After some tests I realized that. When I turn off the primary server the secondary take control and mounts the /dev/drbd0 and everything seems fine, but about 10 seconds later I get this: /var/log/ha-log: ResourceManager[4421]: 2008/01/04_15:18:33 info: Running /etc/ha.d/resource.d/filesystem /dev/drbd0 /replicado start ResourceManager[4421]: 2008/01/04_15:18:33 ERROR: Return code 32 from /etc/ha.d/resource.d/filesystem ResourceManager[4421]: 2008/01/04_15:18:33 CRIT: Giving up resources due to failure of filesystem::/dev/drbd0::/replicado And then heartbeat goes down stopping all services/filesystems, and then I got no working server. Well, actually there is no changelog from upstream, but as I'm the developer I can create one (very superficial, indeed): - Complete code rewrite; - Complete GUI redesign; - Behaviour and usability improvements; - A lot of bug fixes; - Added possibility of the user choose the desired app for burning; - Added possibility of the user add an entire folder for scanning; - User can set --cache-dir=; - User can set --temp-dir=; - Refreshed dependencies; - Switch to python-distutils; Please let me know if you have any other questions. -- [UVFe] Please upload aptoncd 0.1.95-1ubuntu1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/19 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 114221] Re: [Sync Request] Sync aptoncd 0.1-1 from Debian unstable
The difference in MD5 and size is because the Debian package is version 0.1-1, while the Ubuntu one is 0.1-0ubuntu1. The Debian package has a major version than the Ubuntu one (see the changelog). Is there anything I can do? I'm the maintainer of the aptoncd Debian and Ubuntu package, I can repack it for gutsy, or whatever you tell me to do. [Bug 103760] Re: [apport] aptoncd.py crashed with UnboundLocalError in createAptOnCD()
Yeah, I can see the problem. If the user doesn't select any package APTonCD gets lost while copying the packages and trows up a ugly traceback. I'll work on it today. Thanks for your report. pt_BR: Sim, eu vejo qual o problema. Se o usuário não selecionar nenhum pacote o APTonCD se perde ao copiar os pacotes e acaba cuspindo este erro. Vou trabalhar nisto hoje. [Bug 95378] Re: Package names with underscores get mangled
Hi, Thank you for the report. But this is not a bug, as you can confirm by seeing your own cache with: $ ls /var/cache/apt/archives And look at the filenames, some filenames is showed with some 'different' characters, as you described before. In my cache resulted something like that: ... xchat-gnome-common_1%3a0.16-0ubuntu3_all.deb xorg_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu7_i386.deb xorg_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu8_i386.deb xserver-xorg_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu7_all.deb xserver-xorg_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu8_all.deb xserver-xorg-core_2%3a1.2.0-3ubuntu4_i386.deb xserver-xorg-input-all_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu7_i386.deb xserver-xorg-input-all_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu8_i386.deb xserver-xorg-input-synaptics_0.14.6-0ubuntu4_i386.deb xserver-xorg-video-all_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu7_i386.deb xserver-xorg-video-all_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu8_i386.deb xserver-xorg-video-v4l_1%3a0.1.1-0ubuntu2_i386.deb xserver-xorg-video-voodoo_1%3a1.1.0-oubuntu2_i386.deb xutils_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu7_all.deb xutils_1%3a7.2-0ubuntu8_all.deb ... So the file name doesn't changed, only the way of bash (or other ways) shows it to you is 'wrong', but the filename is the same. [Bug 89320] Re: New image overwrites the previously saved in the same folder
APTonCD actualy creates the aptoncd/ directory inside any destination folder selected by user.(i.e.: if the user selects the destination as ~/ the application will create an aptoncd folder inside it ~/aptoncd/). If APTonCD create, so APTonCD also can remove it. But often it can be confuse and annoying.
