[Bug 1890956] Re: [Gateway NE722] Mouse and keyboard stop working after suspend
I installed kubuntu-desktop and removed ubuntu-desktop. The SDDM and KDE combo doesn't freeze on suspend. I can install lightdm and see if the problemm returns. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1890956 Title: [Gateway NE722] Mouse and keyboard stop working after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libinput/+bug/1890956/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1890956] Re: [Gateway NE722] Mouse and keyboard stop working after suspend
I tried suspend with the latest kernel (5.8) and the input freeze still happened. Suspend works on the Windows 10 partition. I could boot up a different distro's live usb or install a different desktop manager and see if the problem is with the kernel or something higher up.

[Bug 173312] Re: Ubuntu should use OpenDNS as the default DNS servers
Ubuntu has a problem with IPV4 which is the technology the Qwest Actiontec routers use for the DNS. If I try to set the DNS on the router, It still uses the IPV4 DNS. If I set it in Ubuntu, it workes untill the screensaver is activated, then I have to enter in the DNS Servers again. It appears to only happen on the older routers. So I've been suggesting to eather get comcast cable internet, or spend $80-$100 dollers for a new router. The Qwest updates also fix this issue. You can also disable IPV6. I am not sure this issue exists anymore. [Bug 159677] Re: Multiple bugs and wishlists
The most important problems in my opinion: The package spamassassin should be a dependency of Evolution Mail because it's the default spam filter. The package alsa-oss should be a dependency of wine because some wine programs require oss and alsa-oss would fill the void. The firestarter package is needed because most people need a GUI on a firewall to feel protected. Gocr should be a dependency of xsane because it needs this program to save text files. Allow any user to eject a cd. ex. User "Bob" wants to listen to some music. But user "Jill" left her cd in. So "Bob presses the button on the cd drive. Confused he right clicks the cd and says eject, only to find a "scary" error message . Auto dpkg repair when it is interupted (auto-run gksudo "dpkg --configure -A") You can't believe how many calls I get on this! FreeDOS boot disk creator ( for BIOS flashing and such ) totem-gstreamer support for DVDs and VCDs with menus Mouse extra button detection Auto encrypted DVD installer Use OpenDNS servers as the default DNS servers. Less important (in my opinion): Everything except above, 7, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 26. I strongly believe however, that one media manager would cause less confusion and bugs. Notes: Please disregard the bugs section. I do realize that some are unreasonable. I myself have a hard time sorting what I want. I also realize some things are already being worked out. I can not do all the bug reports by myself. Some help would be appreciated. Sort through what you want and post.
